According to the CHN Injury Report, everyone will be available for Cornell this weekend, including B Nash.
USCHO is predicting:
Cornell 4, Colgate 1 for Friday
Cornell 1, Colgate 3 for Saturday
Yale pounded Colgate last weekend 6-1 in Hamilton and Dekanich was pulled in the third period (after giving up 4 goals). However, the next night, he shut out Brown and Colgate won 5-0. His numbers are good this year: save% = 0.924 and GOA = 2.17, but Scrivens is better: save% = 0.931 and GOA = 2.01
Colgate is 2-7-2 on the road and 8-3-2 at home. Everyone is available this weekend, except McIntyre (7 goals, 14 assists) who is questionable due to an elbow infection. Cornell is going to have to focus on shutting down the Winchester/Burton/Bogdanich line, which has a combined total of 24 goals and 42 assists. Scali, Fontas and Nicholls (presumably) will have their hands full for the weekend. I wonder if Mike has considered putting Mugford on that line for Saturday night.
Colgate's players are on average physically bigger than Cornell's (195 vs 189 lb), which may be a significant factor for the second game.
My biased predictions:
Cornell 3, Colgate 2 for Friday
Cornell 2, Colgate 2 for Saturday
Go Big Red.
Would you mind changing the subject line for the benefit of those who don't recall whether the friday game is home or away?

okay
Video feed is up -- it's an actual broadcast. No audio, however, so far.
Video feed is up -- it's an actual broadcast. No audio, however, so far.
and now it's down--at least for me
Same here: up briefly without audio, then down.
Gate audio up while we wait.
Redcast is up!
Now audio without video... we are working through all the permutations.
I don't have audio
Now audio without video... we are working through all the permutations.
I'm getting the Cornell audio and TW video feed

Same, I just hope they're synced up when the game starts.

exactly
They just synced.
Wow. The game hasn't even started for me. You must be way ahead.
Slideshow...
Okay, I have audio and video, finally
A lot of hitting going on, or at least attempts. So far Colgate has had the better scoring opportunities.
Apparently Greening missed a golden chance but my video was frozen at the time. Then after this whistle there was a 15 yard facemask by a Colgate player on Joe Devin.
Fontas off for interference.
Penalty killed and the Riley Nash line gets a couple of good opportunities.
Riley right there for the rebound on Seminoff's slapper, but Dekanich holds on to it. That and the perfect pass to Greening the best 2 chances so far.
Penalty killed and the Riley Nash line gets a couple of good opportunities.
Best player on the ice so far
Nice alert playing there by the Scott line.
Dekanich needs a haircut

Penalty killed and the Riley Nash line gets a couple of good opportunities.
Best player on the ice so far
By about 100 miles. Scott and Winchester playing well too.

agreed
I think I'd be interested to see Riley get to play the wing for a couple of games so he doesn't have to drop as far back in the defensive zone. I guess as far as his NHL development is concerned its best for him to play center.
NYR station reports the Santana deal is complete: 1 + 6 year extension, $152M. ::banana::
In non-hockey news, Men's Basketball was down 10-4 early at Brown, but then tied it up 16-16, and have now climbed to a ten point lead 30-20 with 4 minutes left in the first half.
If they sweep this weekend, they are definitely the front-runners to win the Ivy title.
EDIT: It's now 33-33 at the half. Must be pretty exciting in Providence tonight.
To further the mens Basketball update, Cornell and Brown are tied at 33 at halftime
From Ecac site:
Cor 0 Col 0, end 1
Brn 1 Hvd 0, 1
RPI 1 Qpc 0, end 1
Uni 3 Prn 0, 2
Yal 4 Drt 2, 2
Wow, three great Gate chances, a block in front and then two Scrivens saves. Gate pp upcoming.
Getting a little bit chippy with elbows and late hits.
Mugford in the box.
Mugs had to take that penalty. Krantz with a couple mistakes on the kill; those Colgate sweaters are snappy.
Krantz with a couple mistakes on the kill
yeah collectively the team has made a number of mistakes so far this period
Scrivens tackled that one.
those Colgate sweaters are snappy.
Bah. Dumb satin finish. And the font is trying to suggest "old-school" but failing.
Ref: "You are not an angel."
Time Warner doing a very nice job with the microphones on the refs.
The next 90 minutes of hockey are going to be fun.
Union now up 4-0 on Princeton.
Really fun game so far. Both teams hitting hard but clean.
Cornell with a decent power play, but I think the overload on one side prevented the cross-ice onetimers that could've produced a goal.
Greening was camped out far post a couple of times on that last power play, but no one's looking...
this ref is fucking awful
Cornell goes man down.
And we're back on the kill.
great pass by evan--that would have been a sweet goal
Greening!
Nice work ethic there.
Joe Devin with the goal from Greening.
2 15:39 Cor J. Devin 3 (Greeing, Barlow)
ouch... I've got a bad feeling about this kill
Krueger with the smart penalty.
what channel is it on? where can i watch it in manhattan?
It's on Time Warner all over Upstate.
Pretty terrible call there by the ref. He didn't originally call a penalty against the colgate guy for hitting Scrivens, and then decided later on to give the guy a double minor instead of matching minors for hitting after the whistle.
Listed in capital district as on TW-1... but doesn't come in on my channel 1...::uhoh::

Scrivens is having a great game tonight.
That was offsides? OK by me.
Nice extended "see ya" for a section O fan.
End 2: Brown 3 Harvard 1
Kennedy down. Looks bad.
Kennedy down. Looks bad.
no concussion, no concussion (crosses fingers)
Just saw Joe N. here FYI. Probably nothing but I thought I'd mention it.
this ref is fucking awful
like I said
Scrivens is having a great game tonight.
It's all your fault. :)
Mike Devin did you see how they scored that goal--how the defenseman just put the puck on net with a quick hard wrist shot?
3 08:28 Col pp Burton (McNamara, Poplawski)
Barlow rings the far post.
Brown 4 Harvard 1, 3rd
Highlight reel special from Scrivens
awesome game
What a great way to end the game! GREENING!
GREENING!
What a play by Greening! Not just the laser to beat Dekanich, but the hustle to get to that puck!
2 huge points, considering how bunched up everyone is behind Clarkson. Gotta take some fire to Hamilton tomorrow.
And Brown wins its 2nd game of the season, 4-2 over Harvard. Thank you, Bruno.
Just saw Joe N. here FYI. Probably nothing but I thought I'd mention it.
Jason mentioned that Joey was there during one of the "off-air" breaks that did get picked up on the mikes. They were speculating that he might be doing some scouting and that it was his first trip to Lynah this season.
Jason also mentioned that he was at the Everblades tourney. Did anyone else who was in Florida see him at the games? Just curious.
