Article in today's Sun about Krueger's hockey career before joining Cornell.

Good article.  Krueger has been mostly outstanding on defense this year.  He usually makes smart decisions, and I feel he's the best shot-blocker on the squad.

Arthur has been intoducing him as being from Germany, even though the article says he grew up in Switzerland.  But then again, I guess that's always been about where you were born (see Elliott, Jason from Chapman, Austrailia).

Well, his dad has Canadian and German citizenship, but has coached the Swiss national team for about a decade now.  I think that would explain Justin being a German who grew up in Switzerland.

Agreed.  But, I'll go farther and say he has been far and away our best overall defensemen this year.

Edit: This comes from a HUGE Seminoff fan.

I said recently in some thread that Seminoff night in night out is typically Cornell's defensemen, but the more I think about what I've seen lately I find myself very impressed with Krueger's development. He's got a good shot, generally makes smart plays with the puck, and has been good in his own end. Not only that part he routinely starts games, which, from what we've seen the last few years, is usually the line Schafer likes to put out to set a tone for the game.
