Damnit... I wanna dislike YES (being a Yankees hater and all) - but w/ Mike & the Mad Dog, and now ECAC hockey, I'm finding it harder and harder!
The great news is I'll be able to *watch* the Yale away game from the confines of Ithaca :-P.

Awesome!!! I'm looking forward to watching the Cornell-Yale game from my own living room om March 1. It should be a great matchup.
Does this package supplement or replace the original slate of games set to be televised on NESN? The NESN site lists the January and February broadcasts (including the Feb. 22 Cornell-Union game), but not the March broadcasts announced earlier today.
Supplements them.
The press release that Tom Caron and Bob Norton will be the broadcasters. Out of curiosity, is Tom Caron any relation to Yale's (formerly UNH's) Ed Caron?
And we get to debate the pros and cons of Bob Norton again. ::nut::
Dammit. The one regular season game they decide to show on TV is the one 25 minutes from my house? Arrrrrrrg! :-( :-( :-(

Ohh, baby!
Next step: Doggie talking Cornell hockey? ::nut::
The NESN website tonight lists the new slate of games to be broadcast in March, but deleted the initial set of ECAC tv games in January and February from the broadcast schedule. If tonight's listing on the website is accurate, the Feb. 22 Union-Cornell game will not be televised. Hopefully, the deletion of the January and February games from the tv schedule is just an error.

What were the odds that I would buy tickets to the game in the morning only to find out later in the day on USCHO.com that the game would be on TV? Oh well, at least I can get a pizza at Pepe's.

No small consolation, I might add.
:-P
I realize they are two entirely different styles of pizza but I will take The Nines deep dish any day of the week. :-)
Less filling! ::nut::

Modern Apizza on State St. and East Rock Pizza on Willow are both better than Pepe's IMNSHO.
Thanks for the tip.

I'm not optimistic. NESN was supposed to televise several Ivy football games this season, and dropped them after YES's Ivy Football schedule came out. ::uhoh::
What's worst of all is we lose a televised game at Lynah.
Lets hope not....he barely knows what a puck is...and so far I've heard him butcher the pronounciation of "Brodeur". Can you imagine what he'd do to "Neuiwendyk"? :-D
You're close, RichS, it's Nieuwendyk.
sorry, I was too lazy to ck the spelling...I'll go with Joe N from now on. :-D
I was referring to Mad Dog's potential mispronounciation since he has trouble with "Brodeur" and admittedly knows little about hockey.
