OK, here's a odd topic to kill some time: songs about hockey. One of my favorite groups, Great Big Sea, "from the tropical island of Newfoundland", as they like to say, does a song called "Helmethead", about a player who apparently fights and flirts a lot better than he plays:

For those of you with some musical ability (or very cute kids), CBC and Hockey Night in Canada is having a competition for the best rendition of "The Hockey Song". Deadline is January 6th 2008 so maybe the PepBand can get an entry in when they get back in January. :-P
