Title: Newspapers (and candy) at the BU Game
Post by: Jim Hyla on November 24, 2007, 12:52:55 PM
OK, I think it's probably difficult to sneak candy in to throw, but is everyone going to bring extra newspapers? I'll only be watching on TV:`-( so everyone has to step up and bring extra papers to hand out. You might not get some older alums to yell Red during the Anthem, but it would be nice to see a wall of papers.

if you're going to throw anything on the ice, be prepared to be ejected.  They do that at MSG as they should.

Yes, do not throw anything on the ice - that only happens at Lynah. Away and neutral games just get thrown in the air/at each other.

Won't be able to reach the ice from where we're sitting...

But yeah, we'll bring some extra papers. I brought a couple of Daily Suns down.

I don't think Jim was suggesting that they be thrown on the ice. Away from Lynah we throw the paper at each other. We still want a wall of paper during the BU intros.

You've got it, thanks.

And remember Cornell kids, no weapons either!  Especially bonesaws!  The MSG staff doesn't care how strong a bond the fans have with a character from the Spiderman movie, they just don't have any tolerance for that level of, err..."passion"?

:-D
