Sawada from Patrick Kennedy at 6:49.
Much better lighting. You can see all the empty seats.
Much better announcers on the Dartmouth webcast, wouldn't you say?
The only sounds you hear: the click of the puck against the stick and boards, and "Let's Go Red." Don't hear any "Let's Go Green."
Anyone notice the video color balance shifts and picks up a red tinge as the camera pans?
7:49 penalty on Blake Gallagher for roughing
Thx
Goalies are Devine for Dartmouth, Scrivens for Cornell
Krueger penalty w/3:28 left
penalty for cross-checking (got that from the PA announcer in the background, not from jason)
Kennedy draws a penalty on a short handed break.
Lost the video feed, sorry if I miss the pending Cornell SHG (Krueger in box)
:36 later, Dartmouth's Johnson penalized for hooking Michael Kennedy on a shorthanded breakawy
Barlow on a rebound 17:55 ... 2-0 Cornell
sounded like Nash and Seminoff on the assists
This sounds much better than the '05-'06 game up there :)
pritchard hooks sawada, cornell gets a 5 x 3 for 5 seconds at 19:05
Scott pulled down, 5 on 3 for 5 seconds
gaudet from johnson for a shg for Dartmouth 19:24
Dartmouth scores.
There is a little Gaudet? For his sake, I hope that he doesn't look like his dad.::bugeye::

Bill, did you get it back yet? I lost mine right before the Barlow goal and through Quicktime (which I'm using to get the full screen and not the mini-box) I get a URL invalid message.
Auugghhh.
The basketball game loads just fine. Why does this have to be so difficult? ::help:::-/
This is better? (http://www.nmnathletics.com.edgesuite.net/pics11/200/CH/CHHTXMFCDVSADAP.20060915145510.jpg)
Rita,
I lost video with about 5 minutes to go in the period and have been unable to get it back. I sent a support message through the media player, we'll see if they're responsive.

Thanks Phil,
It is nice to know that my technical problems are not soley due to me.
Delay in starting the second period because the lights in Thompson Arena have gone out. The teams are heading back to their dressing rooms.
is anyone getting free audio for this? The link from the audio page doesn't seem to be loading for me.
I'm also without video at the moment. I sent them a tech support message, also.
Kyle
I am now doubtful that we will get the video feed back. Oh well.
maybe power issues explain the video problems..

I pasted "http://nick8.surfernetwork.com/Media/Dartmouth-WFRD.asx" into Windows Media Player and it worked. didn't work in Winamp for some reason.
anyone care to post the video feed url?
maybe power issues explain the video problems..
Like the video dropout predicted the power failure? Sounds backwards but who am I to say.
Nicholls from Scali
i just got video back, i think it's ahead of jason.
i just got video back, i think it's ahead of jason.
Do you have the video url perchance?
what happened did people stop listening?
13:00 left in 3rd, still 3-1 Red.
Dartmouth's "Gamewatcher" has Krantz centering Roezsler and Patrick Kennedy.::innocent::
not really related to tonight, but looking toward next weekend, I'd just like to point out that BU pummeled vermont last night, but tonight they're down 5-3 at the middle of the third...
Dartmouth's "Gamewatcher" has Krantz centering Roezsler and Patrick Kennedy.::innocent::
Don't forget the part about Dan Nicholls playing goal.
Score Nicholls
11:34 our "goalie", Nicholls, scores his second of the game ... unassisted
Goal, Nicholls!
Is this game really being played at Dartmouth?:-P
Nice that Cornell audio precedes Dartmouth supplied video by 20 seconds. If you're multitasking and your mind drifts away, you have plenty of time to see for instance Dan Nicholl's very nice takeaway and his second goal.
the dartmouth commentators have conceded defeat in an effort to jinx us
Cornell PP
and jason has claimed victory and is blathering on and on about how we'll be in third (or second) in the ECAC ... like it matters in mid-November
Are the lines juggled tonight? Jason just mentioned Barlow getting a pass from Gallagher.
Colgate just beat sucks 2-1 to win their first ecac game
lines are unchanged ... could have been on the power play, and schafer has been known to change things in the third period sometimes
Ah, I see the Gamewatcher problem. They started with #3, not #2, so all the names are associated with the next highest uniform number (e.g., they think #18 is Krantz, not Michael Kennedy).
Could someone list the lines as they were tonight in the postgame thread? Thanks.

Thanks. Yes, he changed things up in the third period last night, too.
Looks like Harvard had a big letdown after last night's win. Nice.
Dartmouth becoming goons with the loss
time?
Never mind.

Well it beats the play-by-play of the little kid who didn't get the puck.

I think the little kid is one of the three stars of the game ...

If being listed as a "goalie" and being Jason's intermission guest is good for 2 goals, I'm fine with Jason having him as a "standing interview" for all games this season :-P.

And the mean old guy who stiffed him should get a game DQ.
The only sounds you hear: the click of the puck against the stick and boards, and "Let's Go Red." Don't hear any "Let's Go Green."
Really, the only cheering that any Dartmouth fans did was try to piggy-back on our "Let's Go Red" by just shouting "Green!" when we shouted "Red!" Yale does this, and Brown to an extent, but as Age usually says: "Get your own cheer!"
A Thompson usher came up to me after the game and told me how much she enjoys watching our fans, and how she doesn't understand why Dartmouth fans never get into games like we do.
Generally, the CU sections were pretty quiet as is the trend this season...most of the loud types were standing at the top or behind our 2-3 sections.
Don't know what happened to the lights before the 2nd...it was almost like someone tried to dim the lights to do their little Mickey Mouse/jock jams spotlight "look at us, we aren't Dartmouth College...We're the CHICAGOOOO BULLS!!!!" skate-in for the period, but turned them off instead of down. Lights like that generally take 10 minutes to warm up from "off" and that's about how long it took. Either way, we had to be in Thompson an extra 10 minutes.
On the audio feed, Dartmouth's video or Cornell's audio but especially the Dartmouth video since the audio is just the ambient sounds, no announcers -- you could hear occasional clapping, or shrieks of delight when a Cornell player was checked, and a couple oohs when a Green shot went wide. But "Let's Go Red" came through five-by-five. It was really noticeable.
What was not noticeable was the post-game festivities. Just as the first punch was about to be swung, the video cut out. Again.
