Title: Cornell Previews
Post by: daredevilcu on November 06, 2007, 06:39:18 PM
Where are they?  Even though I don't root for Cornell, I try to read as much as I can about ECAC Hockey, and they normally start before now, don't they?

Here's USCHO's preview: http://www.uscho.com/news/college-hockey/id,14390/200708CornellSeasonPreview.html

If you mean previews housed on this site, the guy who wrote articles the past couple of years has graduated.

Huh?  What previews?  The season has started.

If you mean season previews in the local papers, I know that the Cornell Daily Sun came out with a joint hockey/basketball supplement on Nov. 1.  You can read the stories included beginning here:

http://cornellsun.com/section/sports?page=1

or, if they get buried, they're organized in reverse chronology, so dig in the archives to Nov. 1.

Edit: Keith provided enough context for me to realize that daredevil is talking about Ari's weekly column.

I think the original post was confusing b/c DDCU said "preview." Ari's column usually recapped the past weekend, and then he provided a small preview for the upcoming games at the end.

Ari wrote season preview articles each of the last three years.  See here: http://www.elynah.com/?articles .  Alas, no one has picked up the slack yet.

Yeah, I meant Ari's weekly articles.  He also did the season previews.  I was hoping someone would've known what happened, thanks!

Yeah I understand that...I just initially thought of the bulk of Ari's columns which were weekend recaps.

I told Age a few weeks ago that I would submit a column after this past weekend, and as you can see, well, er that hasn't quite happened yet as I have been overwhelmed this week.  However I do promise to have a regular column sent in after I get back from this weekend's games, as well as a player-by-player analysis which I have already started witting.  Sorry for slacking off.

Oh, no apology needed whatsoever.  I'm glad to hear someone's doing anything at all, regardless of how long it takes.  Kudos to you for taking up the job.
