I don't recall, Bill, but in his first 40 games Joe had two hat-tricks and two four-goal games.
We've got a bunch of guys just hanging on, bouncing back and front between the NHL and Pawtucket - sorry, wrong sport - and it would be great to have a couple guys solidly ensconced in the NHL ranks. Matt, let's hope you're the man.

Murray has "solidly" been in the NHL for over a year now in the fact that he hasn't been sent back down, even if he does get scratched. I expect O'byrne and possibly Moulson to be regulars next season.

You'd think there'd be one goalie solidly in the NHL by now. (Well, not Underhill now that he's called it a career.) But yes it's nice that Murray is in there, too.

You'd have thought that, and been wrong, since D'Alessio graduated over 15 years ago.

Bummer. I hope he enjoyed that cuppa coffee. It sounded like he played quite well in both games, so hopefully he will be back.
Let's hope he gets frequent flyer mileage. It's a long flight from Manchester to LA.
