Maybe it really is "Rocktober"... two minor earthquakes happening in the northeast part of the continental US. I find it quite interesting that given the low number of earthquakes in this part of the US, that there have been two of them in the past two days and near the cities of the teams involved in the ALCS. Hmmmm.
The first earthquake (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Quakes/us2007ipbx.php) occcured in Lake Erie, ~ 23 miles from Cleveland on Wednesday. The second (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Quakes/ne00001027.php) one occurred early this morning about 26 miles outside of Boston.
I found this site (and its companion, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center) this winter while in Hawaii. I am amazed at the amount of "shaking" that the earth does each day.

Hey, the Mass one is right near my sister's house.
I was in a 3.5 and never even knew it. A neighbor had to tell me about it (and she only knew about it because she heard it on the news).
6.0 on the other hand will wake you up from a sound sleep. Scary.
