2 straight vs Gate. ::burnout::
Now the video is up. Looks like the Crescent is only about 1/4 full. Not so good for Homecoming, but it's early.
Siwula still hurt. Colgate has a RB named Andre Dawson.
Gate 3 and out. Cornell a nice drive stalls out due to penalties, and Zell is barely wide from 50. Still 0-0.
Gate has a decent drive but comes up just short, pins the Red at the 1, and after a near safety Cornell manages a 45-yard net punt to save some field position. Still 0-0, late in the 1st quarter.
D holds Gate 3 and out, but then an awful series starting from our 20 featuring a hold and a sack, makes Maxwell save us with a 48-yd punt.
Great 75-yd, 7 minute drive for Cornell ends with a 'Gate goal line stand. Zell from 22 makes it 3-0, Red.
So far Cornell looks good on both sides of the ball. As Colgate is apparently a decent team, this could bode well.
Another 3-and0out by Gate; then Cornell has one good pass play (Ford-Liuzza) and the punt pins Gate deep.
Brief interview with Schafer on the sidelines talking about dedicating the Harkness room and the scrimmage tonight. "We will be young but enthusiastic and talented."
Quick TD drive by Gate with two long passes and an interference on Cornell. 7-3 Colgate, late 2nd qtr.
With all the quick-hitters, you would think we might want to take a shot with a pump and go.
Good late drive by Cornell featuring a 20-yard 3rd down conversion Ford-Walters. Inside the Gate 20 late.
Zell short from 37 to end the half, 7-3 Gate. Good first half, all in all.
WOW. Moran a 72 yd interception return for Cornell! 10-7!
The teams trade TD passes. 6 mins to go in the game, 17-14 Cornell.
One can only wonder why our rushing game is so dreadful.
Where is Liuzza, by the way?
This not just in: 17-14 Cornell final.

Where is Liuzza, by the way?[/quote]He was all over the place early: QB for a couple trick plays and caught a pass.

Interesting. I watched most of the second half and didn't hear his name called.
