I don't think this has been posted here yet:
Cool YouTube video of Libe Slope after the February blizzard (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sE-Gu3-DjT0)
Since you referenced the 1993 event, Here's a video from 1993. (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6715054925059290109) Part of it shows people sledding down Buffalo St. from Eddy. Note the mattress.
I remember 1993. Our department had prospective graduate students in for the weekend. They spent Thursday - Tuesday morning having meals at the Statler and at night making their way to the Chapter House. They all had a great impression of Cornell... almost all of them committed to the program!
On a somewhat related note.. remember the blizzards that hit Colorado last December? Well, apparently not everyone was out enjoying the snow, and preferred "indoor activities" instead. Now, 9 months later, their "blizzard souveniers" are arriving.
