Does this mean he is no longer associated with the Thrashers?

Yes... the Thrashers mods at HF boards told me that he was not offered a contract by the Thrashers. Many hotlanta fans were upset by this. many were not at all. He did not attend rookie/prospect camp.

DILLIGAF is reporting that Riley Nash may or may not be thinking about whether he should or should not be reconsidering his options in light of his brother's injury which may or may not be serious.

Reporting is a strong word. To me, that word implies fact & research, not rumor and opinion.

You forgot intense hatred of the head coach.

The Coyotes signed Alex Auld to a one-year deal (http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=216092&hubname=nhl).  With Lenny, David Aebischer and Mikael Tellqvist also on the books, that's a lot of goalies.  I'm starting to really hope they move Lenny so he actually gets a shot to play somewhere.

Alumni and not-quite-an-amature-anymore Tony Romano is now concidered the #5 prospect for the Devils, according to hockey's future. (http://hockeysfuture.com)
I have to be a little surprised.

August 15 was the deadline to sign graduated college draft picks. That makes McCutchen a free agent, I guess not unexpected, as he did not attend the Colorado rookie/prospect Camp. Will he get a look with the Amerks?

Speaking of free agents, Who is out there, alumni wise?

edit:

I'm wrong- McCutchen is invited to the Avalance Rookie camp, and it takes place on September 8-11. So did he get a contract?

DILLIGAF comes to mind though I heard he left school/neglected to graduate.

My wife's sister's boyfriend's brother told me that he had to leave due to some ugly off-ice incident involving a grapefruit, a vat of jello, and a cocker spaniel...  ::wtf::

Excuse me, but I paid to have those negatives destroyed.
