"A handful of seniors from Ithaca High's state title-winning boys' hockey team will move on to the college ranks in the fall, Little Red coach Rich Armstrong said.
Captain defenseman Tim Kozen, who was named second-team all-state along with Iles, will be attending Cornell. Assistant captain Sean Seyler, who was named MVP of the state tournament, will also head up East Hill."
and:
"Also on the Jr. A Senators will be Kevin Cole, a 1991-born Ithaca native who has been rumored to have committed to Cornell already."
Is he any relation to the CU Hockey alums by the same last name?
and:
"Ultimately, Iles continues to dream of playing college hockey. He said he currently has five schools on his list of ideal locations. In alphabetical order, they are Boston College, Cornell, Michigan, Northeastern and Notre Dame." This is referring to freshman Andy Iles, netminder for Ithaca High School's NYS Championship team (0.95 goals-against average, save percentage of .958.).
I realize it's a long shot. But, wouldn't it be nice to see at least one of these guys make the varsity team?

One of them will, it seems. Big Red Puckhead has already written about Kevin Cole committing to Cornell. Yes, he's the son of Dave & Karen Cole and he's coming in 2009 or 2010:

Iles is going to be a big deal if his maturation continues. I believe he's headed to play prep hockey next year.
As for the other guys, I imagine they'll offer Matt Hedge style insurance for the team :)

I suppose that depends. Yes, if it means that they are good enough to play at this level; no, if it means that there have been a rash of injuries.

I don't think we'll see them on the roster.
