Lot's of news stories flying around the lax hotbeds this week, of course:

As a lunchtime exercise, I did some hunting, seeing that the the Lax Final Four is clean of any Orange teams this year (3 blues and a RED!), to see when the last time that happened. 2005 snapped Syracuse's 22-year stay, but with UVA making both years since, we have to go back pretty far. As far as I can tell, the last year that no Orange team (Syracuse, Virginia, or Princeton...but I guess Princeton doesn't even need to be included) made it to the Final Four was 1978 (Hopkins, Cornell, Navy, Maryland).
Also of interest, the 2006 Duke members are asking for another year of eligibility. I can't imagine seeing this happen, but the thought of Danowski/Greer for another year...... ::panic::
