Title: NCAA pond scum - lax seating rules
Post by: billhoward on May 19, 2007, 05:07:15 PM
How many ways can the NCAA make lawyers and child molesters look good? Here's another: At Princeton, all the fans were forced into the side of the field opposite the TV cameras to make the 8,000 (?) fans in 30,000-seat Princeton Stadium look like as if NCAA lacrosse was filling the place for the quarters. Which meant a lot of people had to sit in the upper deck, nosebleed section when they could have sia midfield down low if the other side were open, too.

Yeah, that sucked.  And if you ended up rooting for Cornell in the Albany section, security came by and placed you accordingly.

At least I saw that happen to one guy.

Amazing game.  Worth driving in the rain both ways to sit in the sun.
