Title: Brendon Nash Injured
Post by: amc245 on April 14, 2007, 12:26:30 PM
Suffered a pretty bad knee injury (ACL, LCL, lateral meniscus).  I've seen him around campus on crutches and he definitely has to have surgery.  As much as I hope he'll be back in time for next season, I doubt he will.

Thats a pretty tough blow to what appears to be a great defenseman.

Yeah I saw him on crutches two weeks ago.  Don't know what happened but it looked like he was moving well and didn't have any visible bandage or cast on.

If true, it's clearly Schafer's fault.  He gambled on the freshmen and lost, you know.

Not only that, I was in the drug store in line behind Brendan, and saw him fill a prescription for allergy meds.  Being natually curious and since he plays hockey for my team, I thought it would interesting to follow him.    He proceeded to buy a Red Baron pizza, a pint of Ben and Jerry's, and Colgate toothpaste.  The traitor!

C'mon guys, is it really our business to spread health online gossip about some college freshman who happens to play a varsity sport?::nospam::

I don't know whether the report is true or not but a player walking around on crutches isn't exactly "gossip". I'm not going to restart the debate on the other info in the previous posts.
