The article sure doesn't make it sound like he'll be returning to Dartmouth.  His agent says that they'll see who drafts him this summer and take whatever path the organization chooses, whether it be the AHL or CHL.

That he has hired an agent, I believe, prevents him from returning even if he doesn't get drafted.  Or am I misunderstanding the rules?

You can't misunderstand the rules, can you? Oh, Beeeej, don't tell me that you got disbarred.

Actually hiring an agent would remove his amateur status.  If it is just his "family advisor" then he should be ok.  Name on the dotted line specifics.  That is how I understand the rules.

Probably just the "family advisor."  USHR is pretty informal with their language and just cited him as his "agent."  Many hockey players have "family advisors" from their early teens on.  Pat Brisson, for example, became Crosby's before he was even a student at Shattuck.

I thought it was Swallow that was kicked off the team for academic problems (cheating), but  Galiardi was just suspended.

Ivy Player of the Year, 1st Team All-American, ECACHL 1st Team, and Hobey Finalist David Jones bolts Dartmouth.

If I'm reading this right, the Story So Far:

Clarkson: Weller

Dartmouth: Galiardi and/or Swallow, Jones

Union: Fox
