Well are you ready.
Pregame has started. Unfortunately, I can barely hear it.
In regards to LeNevue and Canadian team, he said I'd be crazy not to let him go. It's great for the program and if I expect to recruit those types of players he has to go.
In regards to the goalies this weekend it sounds like Lenny. He said he always tries to put the best team on the ice.
Coach mentioned that Hynes did not make the trip. He was left home because of a nagging injury that prevented him from practicing all week.

Makes sense. We get few enough out-of-conference games to not try our best to win 'em all. Playing less than our best could result in a loss here, and might not change the outcomes in Estero either.
ok. just got the whole irc thing working but i can't find #lynah. where exactly is it? ::help::
Well, there are some of us there, based upon the RED that I could during the anthem.
Interesting that Adam said they could not use any artificial nosemakers during the game; so not just the band that has to stop. So none of those thunder whatevers.
1-0 Moulson from Vesce and Baby
Woo-Hoo!! Moulson. 1-0.
Get rid of those annoying thundersticks!! What is this Anahiem?
Moulson from Baby and Vesce. Announcer sounded sad; it was funny.
Moulson from Vesce and Baby at 0:42
UNH with an early PP goal against Clarkson.
We score on the PP. 2-0
Marl Mcrae from Paolini and Murrayat 5:22 - 2-0 Cornell
oh my goodness. 3-0 :)
Cam Abbott scores - 3-0 Cornell
3-0!
Cam Abbott (Chris Abbott) @ 6:41!
3-0 Cam Abbot Timeout WM ... 59 seconds after the second
Mantua may be a better scorer than stopper.
woah. sounds like we're missing a GREAT game - tho anything can happen with over 5/6 of the game left to play!
My first time listening to the visiting feed, and I really like hearing ads from Kalamazoo. I don't like hearing penalties against Cornell.
Damn, I'm 5 minutes late and feel like I've missed everything. Sounds like we are totally dominating, yet again.
1-0 Cornell
that 3rd goal was Cam from Chris. Their mom must be so proud.
2-0 Cornell
So what really happened with the cheers: Cornell created the cheers, Michigan stole them from us, Western Michigan stole them from Michigan?
It is interesting to hear a crowd into the game despite losing 3-0, unlike the other ECAC rinks.
Brent, you must be connected with a tin can and string.;-)
3-0 Cornell
If they keep up at this rate, the game will be all but over soon. Those of you on CornellPass can switch over to our basketball team getting skull raped by Syracuse tonight. :-P
It's just such a pain to log on late and read every message to see who's up. Plus, when the string goes limp, I can't hear a thing.
26-17 Syracuse with 9:47 in the first half.
WM rink announcer said "Cornell returns to full strength"....and the crowd said nothing
Thanks Jordan. Despite my joke before, I still have faith in our basketball team. Strange things happen against Syracuse. I was there the day that our lacrosse team knocked off Syracuse's #1, undefeated, and future national championship team.
This reminds me of a Harvard game at Lynah East in 1968. We came out flying and 3-0 inthe first few minutes. I think 6-0 at end of the first period. Final 9-0.
The intersting thing, aside from the obvious smiles:-D ,was the faces on the Havad fans who, as usual, came strolling in after the game had started.
Well I don't expect us to be in the bball game. After SU let Colgate stay in for the first half, they will probably jump all over us early. Bball is not lacrosse, where we can have talent close to equal. But we can pray.
Clarkson ties UNH at 1 and SLU one down to Lowell
WHCU (the actual radio feed) feed does not seem to be working. I heard a legal ID and a single commercial, but other than that, nothing but silence for about the last three minutes.

And they have the audacity to ask for $7 per mo... -- oh, never mind.
UNH 2-1 over Clarkson after one.
WHCU is back on line as of now (8:00pm)
3-1. damn it.
what exactly happened though? Sounded like Lenny made a mistake (?)
score. 4-1
Cornell 4-1
Palahicky (Cam Abbot)
Red man down Bell on a take down at /after whistle
End of 2 periods 4-1 Cornell
YEAH!
Will we hear a new goalie at all this period? After all , there's no shutout.
Poll before third period? I say, no.
I hope we see a new goalie, but I don't expect it.
It's only 4-1. I say no way.
I don't see UWM outscoring us by 3 in the 3rd regardless of who we put in goal. I'd like to see what Chabot can do...
knock on wood...::voodoo:: again
I don't see it either, but that wasn't really my point.
I just don't think, as a coach, you can do it only up 4-1. If nothing else, it's an insult to the other team, and I don't know if Schafer will do that to his former squad.
Chabot! Chabot! Chabot!
But probably not, because Coach has to be pissed after that crappy period.
Seeing as how were losing our goalie for 4 games and our backups have never been in a real game, I don't at all see "insult" by letting one of our backups get some experience.
Adam is interviewing Kalamazoo local sports reporter.....
Scores elsewhere from Adam and off the internet:
- Maine 3 vs BC 0 (2/3 thru 2nd period)
- Neb Omaha 3 vs Lake State 0 (end of 1)
- St Law 2 vs UMassLow 2 (end of 2)
- Clarkson 1 vs UNH 2 (16 min of 2nd)
- N Mich 3 vs Mich 1
- Harvard 4 vs Princeton 1
- BU 4 vs UMass 1
- Brown 2 vs Yale 2
3rd period has started -
LeNevue big save WMU starting hard - Cornell going down a man
Now 4 on 4 - Vesce drew a penalty to prevent a short handed breakaway
Penalty Gleed 14:20 left
Vesce (Baby, Gleed) @ 9:32
that goal was Vesce from Baby and Gleed
5:30 to go
6-1 - Moulson
Moulson (Palahicky), 18:15
This strategy of jumping out to 3-0 leads in the first period is working quite well. Brilliant coaching.
I like it also!
the second periods have been kinda weak though...but we're winning so I could care less... ::nut::
I could try to analyze our balanced offense, Moulson's strong freshman campaign so far, the Abbott connection, LeNeveu's mistake (?), our smothering defense against a hot offense (until tonight), but instead I'd rather be frivolous.
We are not a little bit good. We are a lot bit good. Oh yes.
Lennie's lost shut-outs in the last three games on sort-of-strange goals.
lol. really. I actually laughed out loud.
This is amazing. I knew that this was going to be a strong team, but I had no idea that we were going to just destroy the opposition. (Knock on wood.)
CU 3, OSU 1 . . . CU 4, BU 1 . . . CU 5, BU 1 . . . CU 6, WMU 1. Does anyone detect a pattern in non-conference games to predict tonight's score?
Just remember, we haven't played anyone yet. I mean, by our ranking we should only lose one more game all season (Maine). That ain't gonna happen, despite the weak schedule. The key is to stay healthy and peak at playoff time.
As Coach V. of NC State was fond of saying, "Survive and advance..."
Yeah, but look what happened to him.
That's bad Greg...
and it will happen to all of us also.
FYI, Chabot seemed not to have made the trip, since Marr was the only other goalie dressed, at least Saturday (I didn't notice Friday).
Edit: I didn't know we were playing Wisconsin-Milwaukee... ::nut::

Chabot was also not on the ice Friday, and presumably didn't make the trip.
