Hmmmm.... Albany will get exposed. UVa will surge back towards the top and is still a favorite. Penn's schedule is pathetic. They will have a tough time in the Ivy League.
Army will be a good test for Cornell. I think we learn a lot more about ourselves after Army and Duke.
Amidst all the publicity and the season cancellation and all that, I think I'd forgotten that Duke is also a very good lacrosse team.

Penn's first big test of the year today, losing to Bucknell this afternoon 9-5.
So what do you think the odds are of us making it to Baltimore this year?
So I guess the real tests this year will be Army, Syracuse and Duke, but I don't believe Dartmouth or Princeton will be a push-overs.

I'd be at Army rooting on our Big Red Laxers, but for it conflicting with the hockey playoff games. They'll just have to tough it out and play without me. :-)
Loyola leading Duke 4-1 after 10 minutes. 5th-year face-off guy who graduated Yale last year dominating the X for Loyola.
5-1 Loyola over Duke at the half. Loyola goalie playing out of his mind, but Loyola controlling the ball much of the half.
Tape replay on CSTV Sunday at 10:30am.
They're playing this late at night? That's kinda odd, isn't it?
Edit: 7-6 Duke with a minute and change left.
Edit: 7-7 with 1:13 left.

Game is in San Diego. 1:37 left. Duke 7, Loyola 6. Loyola with ball
Quick two goals, 8-7 Loyola.
Final. Loyola 8, Duke 7. Are we #1?
Final. Loyola 8, Duke 7. Are we #1?
We were #3 and won on the road at #9 Army. Duke was #1 and lost to unranked Loyola at a neutral site. Georgetown was #2 and lost at home against #12 Syracuse.
Yeah, we might be, now that you mention it.

Like "becoming old" will stop a joke from being used here ;-)? PM me if you need a more detailed explanation :-} (Sorry John, it was too easy and I'm sleep deprived due to DST :)).
While I'll admit to having cheered for Loyola throughout that game last night, I really would have preferred going into the game a week from Tuesday with Duke undefeated and number one. They'll be very hungry now, and in no way complacent. Wish it would be videocast.

The get to take it out on North Carolina, first, though, next Saturday.
For what it's worth, IC was #13 in last week's DIII poll and won their only game last week. Go local sports team!
