With under 5 mins left, it would be nice to go into halftime with a 2 or more goal lead.

I vote for three, at least, Jacob.

Colgate looks well-coached and pretty solid so far.

Yeah, from what i've read on laxpower they have yet to play their starters for more than the first half, so i'm hoping fatigue becomes a factor for them.

Corell up 16-6 with under 6 minutes left. Second half shots have been 27-8 Cornell. Seems a bit lopsided.

Make it a final score of Cornell winnint 16-6. Granted I didn't watch the game on some-access, I just watched gametracker and read updates, but it seems like an impressive showing on both sides of the field for Cornell.

Nice job, Jacob.

A few postgame thoughts:

- Pittard was hard to handle. He's looking to score much more this year; last year he looked to feed first, particularly early in the season. They guy who'll suffer most, if this continues, is Mitchell. But it's a net gain, I think.

- Seems like they're bringing in soph attackman Christian Pastirik on EMO. He's setting up in the crease -- strange for such a small, slight guy.

- Great faceoff play today. I really like having Moyer on the wing. He's better than Vedder on ground balls. Two goals from Schmicker!

- Calvert plays with a lot of energy at SSDM. He's fast and surprisingly physical for a relatively small guy. But after he sprints the ball across the midfield stripe, he has been a turnover machine. Yikes.

- Belisle is so good.

- Seibald is starting to shake off the cobwebs. A little less tentative each time.

Not a bad performance for a game Hillel was worried might be a trap.  B-]

It's not a trap.  It's a left wing lock!
