2-0 cornell at the end of the 1st.
Now 2-1 late 1st.
2-0 cornell at the end of the 1st.
Apparently gametracker had a glitch, not quite teh end of 1 yet.
2-2 now
3-2 colgate early in the 2nd.
Glynn 3-3
Seibald! 4-3 cornell
Pittard 5-3
With under 5 mins left, it would be nice to go into halftime with a 2 or more goal lead.
I vote for three, at least, Jacob.
Colgate looks well-coached and pretty solid so far.

Yeah, from what i've read on laxpower they have yet to play their starters for more than the first half, so i'm hoping fatigue becomes a factor for them.
Thanks for the updates, peeps. Any chance of updating the thread title?
Yeah, i'm gonna update the scoring at halftime, i'll do the thread title from here on out.
Shots are 18-11 cornell
ground balls 22-18 cornell according to gametracker.

7-3 schmicker.
8-3 Pittard, nice to see them opening up a nice lead.
GO CORNELL!!
Cornell up 9-4 now, schmicker becoming more than just a faceoff man :)
Keep it up red!
10-4 cornell, bartlett. Did bartlett play last year? I don't remember him.
10-4 now according to GameTracker. Although its light on the details.
And 11-4 with an Espey score
Cornell really piling on at the end of the 3rd, 12-4
End of 3, Cornell winning 13-5
Colgate scores on the first penalty of the game early in the 4th. 13-6 cornell
And Mitchell answers back quickly.
Cornell fails to score on its first EMO. What is with these cornell special teams ;) :P
Seibald puts cornell up 15-6 with 8:52 left.
Corell up 16-6 with under 6 minutes left. Second half shots have been 27-8 Cornell. Seems a bit lopsided.
Make it a final score of Cornell winnint 16-6. Granted I didn't watch the game on some-access, I just watched gametracker and read updates, but it seems like an impressive showing on both sides of the field for Cornell.

YAY WE WON!
Nice job, Jacob.
A few postgame thoughts:
- Pittard was hard to handle. He's looking to score much more this year; last year he looked to feed first, particularly early in the season. They guy who'll suffer most, if this continues, is Mitchell. But it's a net gain, I think.
- Seems like they're bringing in soph attackman Christian Pastirik on EMO. He's setting up in the crease -- strange for such a small, slight guy.
- Great faceoff play today. I really like having Moyer on the wing. He's better than Vedder on ground balls. Two goals from Schmicker!
- Calvert plays with a lot of energy at SSDM. He's fast and surprisingly physical for a relatively small guy. But after he sprints the ball across the midfield stripe, he has been a turnover machine. Yikes.
- Belisle is so good.
- Seibald is starting to shake off the cobwebs. A little less tentative each time.
Not a bad performance for a game Hillel was worried might be a trap. B-]

It's not a trap. It's a left wing lock!

It is soooooooo hard to be a pessimist.
