Not sure why they are starting early but gotta be rough on Q.
Looks like NESN is carrying the game, so wherever that falls on your cable company's lineup...
Q kills off a 5-on-3, 11 minutes left in the first, 0-0.
Have they mentioned who the ref is?
Haven't been paying that much attention, but I'll listen for it. If they said it once already, I doubt they'll mention it again.

Thanks. I just figure it'll give us an indication of who will be reffing at Lynah tonight.
Ref is Eugene Binda.

Looks like Cornell gets John Murphy.
QU goes up 1-0 on a Cashman PPG, 5:27 left in the first.
...and Q kills off another 5-on-3, 1:20 left in the first.

Works for me. At least he knows the rulebook.

Good Murphy ... Bad Murphy ... F Murphy!
I just turned on the game. Qunnipiac is wearing the home whites, and Colgate their away uniforms. I'm guessing that this has something to do with the early start time, and Quinnipiac not having had time to get the road uniforms they wore last night washed in time, but can someone confirm this? (Maybe the announcers said something at the start of the game?)
Thanks.

I think those are special third jerseys for Colgate, not their usual road ones.
Has Colgate had a scoring chance yet?

Colgate is wearing their new third jerseys which look suspiciously like their away jerseys forcing Q to wear their home jerseys.
They keep forcing visiting teams to bring both their home and away jerseys so that they can wear their third jersys. Jerks. ::nut::
Sure. In fact, just moments ago on a PP.

3rd j3rzeez r teh suxx0rs!
Cashman's second, another PPG.
The Q announcer sounds like an unfunny version of Steve Somers.
Colgate finally connects on a 5-on-3. Fisher had the puck sitting on the ice between his pads for a few seconds, but Binda never blew the whistle, and Burton grabbed it from behind Fisher and popped it in. Good call by Binda.
Glad to hear 'Gate get back into it. They had been about 0x10 on pp this weekend.
Bates picks up the easy rebound to keep the game an all-PPG affair.
Dekanich absolutely steals one during a QU PP - the QU player already had his arms raised in celebration, and just coudln't believe Dekanich had gotten his glove over in time, but he had.
6:35 left in the 3rd.
Fulton makes it a one-goal game. Yet another PPG.
QU goes on a PP with 2:07 left; Colgate won't have much opportunity to try to tie it up at this point.
And with a minute left, Colgate gets a decent short-handed chance, but can't get it past Fisher.
Game over, 3-2 Quinnipiac. Dekanich couldn't get started off the ice until about one second remaining. A little scuffle after the final whistle, but nothing big.
That was one of the most amazing saves I've seen. Even Leitch, the guy who took the shot, could do nothing but laugh afterwards.
