Title: Other scores, 2/16-17
Post by: DeltaOne81 on February 16, 2007, 09:47:38 PM
Princeton 2 at Colgate 1
Dartmouth 4 at Brown 3
Rensselaer 3 at   St. Lawrence 6
Union 2 at Clarkson 6

Assuming Yale hangs onto their 4-1 lead over Harvard in the mid 3rd, we'll be ready to know a lot more after last night, when the lines between the 'groups' may become guaranteed instead of just probable. Especially if we can put Princeton away.
"we'll be ready to know a lot more after last night"
::help:: I'm confused.

In any event Dylan Reese just missed an open net and Yale took it the other way for an ENG and 5-1 lead with 3 min to go. Harvard either thinks they are still playing the beanpot consolation or they are out to help Yale win the Ivy title and keep it from Cornell.

What member of the Lynah faithful would surround himself with a school full of women *gasp*? :-D

Final score Yale/Hahvard?

"Sophomore dies in kiln explosion?  She was going to make a pot for me."

Typical Harvard blows their chance to help us by knocking off Yale and giving us a shot at the Ivy title.  Well, at least something good will come out of tomorrow night's Yale-Dartmouth game.  If Dartmouth wins, we still have a shot at that banner.  If Yale wins, it could open up some ground between 4 and 5.

I know it's heresy to some, but I would prefer that Yale win so that we (hopefully) can get closer to securing the bye.

If Yale wins Sunday, Cornell can still share by winning out.

EDIT- Yale/Dartmouth is Sunday afternoon.

Tanner Glass (DC's #2 scorer) went out and got himself a big fat spearing major + DQ tonight so he'll sit Sunday vs. Yale.

"Tanner Glass" sounds like an action hero.  Or a porn star.
