Some very interesting statistics in there this week.

You didn't address goaltending at all. Will we see Scrivens tonight/Davenport tomorrow? Or Davenport tonight because he played well last weekend?

Well I'd be really surprised if Davenport didn't start tonight.  If he doesn't play well then Scrivens will be in tomorrow.  If he does play well, I still wouldn't be surprised if Scrivens were in tomorrow.

It's now believed that Jared Seminoff is lost for the regular season or for the playoffs, too?

For best goaltending in 2007-08, do you believe Schafer's hope is for improvement from the trio of current goaltenders, or is he casting about for the next David LeNeveu/David McKee?

I think they would have signed a goalie for next year if they were going to have one.  So that means it will be the same three guys which isn't so terrible.  No, Davenport and Scrivens haven't been stellar, but they have each shown flashes of being capable goaltenders.  The team defense will be much better next season so whichever goaltender gets the number one job (I think it will be Davenport) will have a lot more confidence and a greater margin for error.

From Playing to Strengths:  "A good start in this game [tonight against QU] will be imperative for Cornell as they were out-skated and outworked from the drop of the puck against this team in November."

Can't disagree with the bottom-line sentiment here, but my recollection of that game is that Cornell put the first seven or eight shots on goal while taking a 1-0 lead...before then deciding to call it a night after Q scored on its first shot.

Flashes of competence?  My, how the mighty expectations have fallen...  ::cry::

You got the two-goal margin right. Nice call.

Yeah, but sometimes he is off with the cowbell, so he should be thrown off the clock tower.

It pains me a lot more to hear shit like the "overrated" cheer from the end of the game last night or "black hole" in a 1-0 game than it does to hear the cowbell played slightly imperfectly.
