Title: Goaltender rotation
Post by: billhoward on January 28, 2007, 09:46:51 PM
If there is a goalie rotation that follows this past weekend's rotation (other than the Friday goalie being yanked six shots into the game): Is the right goalie playing the right teams for the last eight games?

FRIDAY      SATURDAY
Davenport      Scrivens

Clarkson      St. Lawrence
Union       RPI
Quinnipiac   Princeton
Dartmouth    Harvard

Is there really that much of an overall difference between those two line-ups?  The only one I really see this year is Quinnipiac over Princeton, and I would rather see Davenport against Q.

Yeah, I don't have the scouting reports on each of the teams to know whether the Friday/Saturday makes sense. Davenport seems to have a hell of a lot of trouble on high shots, so maybe if any of those teams has a reputation for those, he should start the other game. Dartmouth could be another long game if we haven't figured out how to solve them physically.
