Title: 2007 Florida Classic

Hey folks, I posted this over on the roundtable, it seems they have next year's grouping all set.  See you all down there!

INCH had an interesting note next to U of Maine in the Power Rankings:

"The Black Bears won the Florida College Classic for the first time since 2002 and will defend next year against a strong field that includes Boston College, Clarkson, and Cornell."

Edit: I corrected the link, apologies.

I'd guess Cornell would face BC on the first day so as to avoid a rematch of the past year's title game.

Also, the INCH rankings are still a joke. Cornell drops one spot for beating the #2 team and losing to the now #3 team?

Those are pre-holiday tournament rankings.  Note the date at the top of the page.

the link at the top of the page is a bad link and goes to the old rankings.  the link lower down on the page goes to the new rankings.

here's the direct link:

If we beat Sacred Heart we drop 3. If we lose, INCH stops covering the program.

My bad.  Yeah, that's kind of bizarre, but as with any other ordered list, for one team to move up, you should be able to justify the team formerly above them moving down.  Not always easy or rational.
