Title: Matt Connors Has Left the Team
Post by: cbuckser on December 29, 2006, 12:48:25 PM
Christopher Feaver broke the story in the Ithaca Journal:

The revised roster on the official site confirms it:

After he tore up midget hockey, I thought he was going to be an impact player.  It's too bad things did not work out for him on the ice at Cornell.

His year in the EJHL was pretty bad and injury-filled.  Would have probably been best for him to take another year there.  Still weird that he never got into a game.

That's too bad.  They guy went from being a highly ranked player to not even getting in a game and going undrafted.  Anyone know where he's heading, is he staying at Cornell or trying to transfer to another college hockey program?  I wish him luck.
