After Cornell does nothing with a few powerplays, Wayne State scores on its first opportunity to go up 1-0
Wayne St. PP goal off a one-timer. 2-0 WSU, and they still have a 5 on 4 advantage. Lynah is dead.
2-0 on another PPG,
Make that 3-0 on another PPG
Another PP goal. Are we going to see a Scrivens sighting?
Reminds me of a certain meeting with Michigan State...
Scrivens is now in NET
Well, I had said I wanted to see Scrivens, but these are not the circumstances I had envisioned.
we need to get 1 back by the end of this period
I thought WSU was 2-9 and might be a good chance for the team to start playing as a team...oh well. I would say townies up but they'd probably just head to their cars.

Reminds me of last year's ECAC championship game. Very different opponent, however.
Greening takes a penalty, and WSU goes on another penalty.
Well, at least we finally killed off a penalty.
Back to even strength, just over 4 mins left in the 1st
and scrivens made his first 2 saves which is more than what davenport did
Can someone who has audio give some more play details because gametracker doesn't tell you much.
Score Greening
Greening on the powerplay! Now it's 3-1.
woohoo
Gallagher and Krantz assist
Less then a minute left in the first
Scott with a nice chance at the end of the first, but he is turned back. The Red started picking things up at the end of the period.
Milo 3-2
Penalty against the Big Red
Another penalty on CU, Kruger Hooking
5x3
Wayne State score 4-2
Waybe State with 3 PPG tonight, they are still on the 5x4 powerplay for 39 secs
killed
Swada with another CU penalty
Wayne state penalty, 4x4
Believe it or not video is now up - I guess better late then never
CU on the PP
5:07 left in period, 4x4 for matching minors
Even stength with less then 3 mins to play
Wayne State penalty, interference. Cornell 1of 7 on the PP tonight
This is getting depressing...maybe it's a good thing I couldn't get my video to work.
let's go red
wayne state kill sthe penalty
Greening!!! Assisted by Gallagher
GREENING!!! PP GOAL.
Come on, Lisa, get us another one!
did you know there's no such thing as canadian bacon in canada?
wsu penalty shot
Penalty shot SAVED by Scrivens!!!
Gametracker says McCutcheon hit a pipe.::scream::
If only it were that simple!!
what did scrivens do to get a penalty?
Gametracker also says Scrivens got assessed a penalty...and WSU scores...:-/
schit
Geez, the PK really does need work.
Hard to come from two goals down after two when you can muster only three shots on goal in the first ten minutes of the third period. Similar to the QU game, where we put little pressure on the Q in the third period.
I think we have yet to put a full 60 minutes together.
BITZ PP goal...5-4!!
Score BITZ!!!
3:23 left LETS GO RED!!
come on red!
Scrivens has been pulled, 5x4
.31 left, penalty on WS, 6x4
gametracker says final 5-4 wsu
That's because it is final ::yark::
I mean if you think about it they didn't play awful. They had a good mix of powerplay and even strength goals.
Oh, but then they had to play a man short 7 times, allowing 4 goals. That kind of lost the game for the Big Red tonight. I mean 7 powerplays isn't an awful lot of chances, but they can't be giving up goals that easily when they go on the PK.
They better come out flying tomorrow afternoon, or it's going to be a long week of practice.
If this team wants to be a contender they can't keep playing games like this.
He came out of net to get the puck, which was coming down the boards and a WSU player came over and checked him, and he put his hands out. How dare he!
no... the wayne state player didn't check him, he checked the wayne state player...

::thud::
Sorry, not trying to pick a fight, but Wayne State is one of the worst teams in college hockey. For most of the game they skated harder, worked harder, and simply hustled more than Cornell. I never really saw any urgency by Cornell & this after having Schafer call out the team in the media. That's not a good sign.
