Right now, All-Access, but I bet the feed drops about 1/2 through the 2nd period.
New line combos:
Barlow-Bitz-Sawada
Scali-Scott-Romano
Mugford-Kennedy-Carefoot
Greening-Gallagher-McCutcheon
Defense pairings have not changed.
Stupid Navy computer won't let me connect to the All-Access server. The Free Net Audio page doesn't seem to be loading an audio feed. Anyone have a better link for QU's feed?
http://quinnipiacbobcats.cstv.com/
there's a headline link to the radio page there, follow your nose.
Here's the most direct QU audio link I found -
HTML - http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x981.xml
audio - http://www.streamaudio.com/stations/asx/wqun_am.asx
I'm just getting frank sinatra on their feed. Anyone getting the real thing?

Click on WQUN on the bottom right

Thanks for your (and everyone's) help. It's not working, but I'm guessing the problem is completely on my end, since I'm sitting at a duty computer using the worst company intranet ever created (Navy Marine Corps Intranet). ::pissed::
Scott! PPG
SCOTT!!!!
I had to disable pop up bloking to get it to work. Hope you get to listen.
woo hoo! It sounds like Fisher is a little shakey in the early going.
Great to see Cornell hitting Q hard early with shots. This is not a team to take lightly. UVM, we hardly knew ya. ::burnout::
This worked for me -
quinnipiacbobcats.cstv.com
Then click on -
"Listen live to Saturday's game"
And disable pop-up blockers.
Gametracker is an alternative.
Game tied :-(
2-1 Q on a PP goal.
Based on the new lines, I assume Scali has been on the ice tonight? This is an interesting development...how does he look/sound?
Based on the new lines, I assume Scali has been on the ice tonight? This is an interesting development...how does he look/sound?
Well he was in the box when Q scored the go ahead goal. But at least he got the penalty from laying out Reid Cashman.
Big Red outshot 10-8 in the 1st. It sounded like we carried the play for the 1st half of the period, and they carried it in the 2nd half.
From what I've heard, Scali has been good enough -- just the case of the 13th forward. So I don't read anything into it re: Milo. Mike just may have wanted to give Scali a shot. Or maybe he felt like he wanted more size tonight.
come on red!
The 2nd period is underway
I don't mind these announcers that much...I've never heard anyone so excited about a crossing pass before, though.
Come on Red!!!
Davenport save on a Quinnipiac breakaway
Scali with some nice work on the pk
Uh oh...
Deflection off Seminoff. 3-1 Q
Doherty goal
Does QU have a school song/fight song? It sounds like all they have is a Jock Jams cd...
i just tuned in this second to the Quinnipiac audio:
"That's the second quinnipiac goal as a result of a shot taken toward net."
Dare I ask how they scored the other one?
Cornell goes on PP.
Does Q have a band there?
KENNEDY!
Kennedy! 3-2
Kennedy scores just after end of Cornell PP, 7:02 to go in second
LGR! Tie it up boys
Some great chances by Bitz and Kennedy.
Sahmallah is playing for Cornell.
Sonds like our team is buzzing...lets capitalize on the pp LGR!
So is "Kravitz" ::innocent::
PP coming up for Cornell...3:30 to go in second
Q announcer argues that tripping was a bad call because, though "it was a trip," the ref should have viewed it "in the context of the play."

Their color guy leaves a lot to be desired.
Play-by-play man is solid, except he's one of those guys who keeps his voice even as if nothing happened when the opponent scores.
No band there for Q. The announcers said all the students are on Thanksgiving break already (kind of early) so our pep band is the only one there (they also said this game should sound like it's in Lynah rink because of our fans and pep band...I don't hear any ushers threatening students, though).

Should be noted that our "pep band" there is an group of alumni with instruments. Not the official pep band.
CU PP over
I didn't realize it before but I really like seeing our goals in red in the OP. It looks cooler.
Second period over still 2-3.
Any word from the Qunnipiac announcers on how Davenport looks? 3 GA on 15 shots doesn't sound all that stellar. There was a scrum at the end of the 2nd penalies forthcoming?
I didn't realize it before but I really like seeing our goals in red in the OP. It looks cooler.
I can't take the credit. Thank Trotsky.

i'm gonna predict the next Red goal to be McCutcheon asisted by Scott
God, I hate the Pepsi ad.

It's a typo. Last I heard it was 1-0 Dartmouth.
Whoops...apologies
the Brown 5-1 Dartmouth result was from the Women's game
Clarkson trails SCSU 2-0 at the end of the 1st.
Coincidental penalties: Travis (Qu) + Scott
14:45 to go in 3rd
4X4
What is that crap being yelled over the PA?

Both penalties for roughing. Kill, Topher, Kill!
let's go red
Wong scores. 4-2 Q
Geez, 2 bad D turnoversand it's 4-2. ::smashfreak::
Qu one off the post, then one in the net (Wong)
Come on boys
Let's Go Red!
USC 3 Cal 2. Nice hockey score.
1-0 gophers over badgers, early in the 3rd.
LGR!!
lots of matching minors. Travis and Barlow. Skating 4x4 should help our cause.
Well, now it's Wis 0, Minn 2 (13:47 to go in third).
I've been watching this game on TV while listening to Cornell. THe Wis/Minn game is really good. Though I keep getting a little confused by listening to one and watching another.
Now it is 2-0 gophers. ~ 14 minutes left in the 3rd. The 2nd gopher goal was a backhand on a 2v1. It was a pretty goal.

You too, eh? :-) I usually mute the sound on the TV game, so I miss things do to the lack of commentary and also while reading ELF.
Q sits tight on their pp. About 6 mins to go. Cornell needs to wake up, say... now.

Well, our TV has that captioning thing on, so I'm actually reading the TV a good bit of the time, listening to the CU game and watching Wis/Minn. Luckily the exciting bits rarely coincide.
Timeout Cornell 2:29 to go in regulation. I'm guessing davenport will be on the bench.
Davenport off...empty net for CU 2:29 to go
Qu takes a time out.
Dartmouth redux. Troy on the bench. About 2:30 left.
2:30 left. Davenport on the bench.
How come Coach isn't waiting to win the face-off before pulling Davenport in these situations?
How come Coach isn't waiting to win the face-off before pulling Davenport in these situations?
2 goal deficit?
PP for CU.
Cashman penalty. Good.
edit: Agnew, not as good.
Penalty on Qu...1:14 to do.

The first faceoff was in the Q zone. Makes sense to pull Davenport before that.
Let's go Red! 6-4 advantage
less than 1 minute left
ENG for QU.
ENG 5-2 Q.
ENG Qu
Wisconsin just scored to make it 2-1 Gophers.
4:30 left in the 3rd.
(4-2-0, 6-2-0)
Still a damn good start with so many kids.

Damn straight. Let's just take care of buisness at home before heading to Florida. LGR!!! ::rock::
Qu wins it...moves into first in ECAC.
Still, considering the age of our team, we are doing okay. We aren't getting squashed, we've won more games than many expected.
We seemed to suck at important faceoffs tonight--a few at the end, and a number of defensive zone faceoffs throughout the game.
Last 2 weekends -
Friday nights: Harvard and Princeton outshoot Cornell, but Cornell wins both.
Saturday nights: Cornell outshoots Dartmouth and Quinnipiac, but DC and QU win.
