Last year, we had a wonderful habit of keeping in-game discussion and post-game discussion in two separate threads for each game. I thought that worked great, especially when I'd actually been to the game and had no desire to wade through 100 "This ref is teh sux0rs" or "Who got that assist?" messages in order to get to the meta-hockey analysis and thoughtful opinions. So, could we please do that again?
I realize that posting this request officially makes me an old, curmudgeonly nudge, but there are worse things in the world than becoming more like ugarte.
As long as we are putting in requests, when I was following the game threads last weekend I thought it might be nice for the person starting the game thread to put a link to the free audio on that initial post. Yeah it's a little work, but if you get a correct working link it would help those who are just signing on. Just a thought, but it is helpful just like updating the score in the thread title.

Agreed, and I was going to start just a thread for both games this past weekend, but got lazy and/or doing other things.
So, no, you aren't the only one thinking this.
We also need someone to start the game threads who will update score and scoring in the opening post.
(Hopefully) working audio links are found in the Free Net Audio page linked to on the right.
Excellent idea - separate thread for post-game comments.

Thanks for being the curmudgeon so I didn't have to. Post-game threads please. Of course, all it takes is for someone to take the three seconds to create one so lets just try to remember to do that. Though maybe make it pre-game so we don't get three or four threads by mistake.

He who starts the game thread has to take on the resposibility of updateing scores and starts a postgame thread, either at the beginning or by third period. My comment about the free audio link was that if we find out a link is working, then posting it on the game thread is nice for someone who joins the game after it has started.
Good idea on the audio links, Jim.
Didn't we usually have three threads for each game last year? One for play-by-play commentary, one for postgame analysis, and one for belly-aching about the video feed.

Speaking as one who dodged the bullet by passing on All-Access, thanks for confining the complaints about All-Access to one thread that grows every week.
