Enjoyed reading the column. Wish I could make the trip to "beautiful New Haven." ::screwy::
See this about why the men's game was on Thursday night...

I agree that Carefoot has not proven himself on the PP or even on the top line. But was he not on the top line last year as well ?
I think we should give him a chance, as I am pretty sure he is playing with lots of pain.

He was on the top line last year but with an asterisk. Scott would slide into his spot usually half-way through games and Carefoot would go to the fourth line with Kennedy and Barlow.
I have a burning question that can't wait for Saturday at Yale.
What do the backs of the Davenport jerseys say? Both "Davenport", or one "Tr. Davenport" and one "Ta. Davenport".
Maybe one of them could go with the whole name on the jersey, Darrent Williams style.
On Edit: I realize this is probably a stupid question. The McRae's nor the Abbott's never had anything other than their last name, IIRC.

They both say "Davenport."
Ari likes New Haven about as much as Harvard, the Edmonton Oilers, Tanner Glass, Potsdam, and the B.R.A.G.B.

They'd better! ;-) Having only the last name on the jersey is one of the quirks I love about us, like not having a #13.

Nor the Wilsons. (Apostrophe comment omitted.)
like not having a #13.
At least not in the last 40 years or so.

Wilson", say)? Or if someone wore #13? REALLY? ::screwy::
If the female Cornell hockey players are girls, why aren't the male Cornell hockey players boys?
[q]For some reason, the girls' hockey game on Friday pushed the men's opener back to Thursday.[/q]

The men's team should turn them into the women's team and help breed a new generation of Cornell hockey greatness.

Obviously because I am sexist.

Obviously because I am sexist.
Considering that women hockey players, in general, do not spend a year or two (or three ... ) years past High School playing Junior hockey before entering college, as the men often do, it may not be entirely inappropriate to call them "girls", but I wouldn't dare do that. ;)

You say that like it's not already happening (Manderville-Ratushny, Burt-Hayes).

Never let the facts stand in the way of a good story (see attached).

Wow, I'm getting senile. Did I also not walk uphill both ways in the snow when I was a student either?

That depends. Did you live off of North Campus at any point?
