USA Today is also up. I don't have enough time to do the formatting. We moved up 4 slots, to 11.
How are we so low!? Looking at the KRACH, we're infinitely better than all those teams, except for Maine, Minnesota and Dartmouth.
;)
Both RIT and RMU were NCAA games, not exhibition, right?
Yes, hence why we are listed as 2-0-0.

Whether the RIT game counts for NCAA tournament selection purposes is an open question. I'm not certain it does but I haven't seen anything definitive on the issue.

My understanding is that it does not count toward tournament selection purposes. But the question was whether it was an "NCAA game" as opposed to an exhibition game, which it was.

Actually, he forgot Poland ... I mean Harvard.
I was actually asking about the NCAA tourney, and if we're 2-0-0 why they didn't necessarily count for tournament selection yet still were NCAA games.

Because RIT is not eligible to compete in the NCAA tournament until the 2007-2008 season. It's just a rule that only games against tournament eligible teams count when determining the NCAA field.
edit: RIT is not even eligible for the AHA tournamnet this year.
RIT is not even eligible for the AHA tournamnet this year.
They're not? Well that seems odd. But I guess the league doesn't want to run the chance of the tournament champion being ineligible to use the auto bid.
Any NC$$ rules lawyers out there want to take a crack at what would happen if RIT did play and win the AHA tournament? Would the league lose its bid? Be able to assign it to the runner-up or RS champs? Or is there just a blanket prohibition of teams that are ineligible from participating in post-season tournament? (This would cover teams on suspension too.)
My understanding of the autobids is that each conference is welcome to apply it as they see fit; it just happens that all six have chosen to give it to the conference tournament winner. However, I suspect that the decision has to be made prior to the beginning of the season. So if RIT were AHA-tourney eligible, and they won that tourney, the AHA couldn't then turn around and say, "Ah, but AIC won the regular season, so they're going to the NCAAs."
