Re: Cornell v Union - 22 days ago
I'm not going to fight with you. I will say this is my ideal, and this is tooth-ache inducing. I recognize that for profitability you have to bend over for the iPacifier perma-children, and that there is no more margin for you to serve me my preference than for Amazon to hawk this over this. But, like Amazon, I wish you would stock both. I wish you, and the world, would simply have an aduby Trotsky - Hockey

Huggy bear was garbage. It's not our bear; it's an inconsequential marketing gimmick from a period that was singularly soulless. This is our bear:by Trotsky - Other Sports

#ugarte: Thank you, I'm already learning a lot. Can you tell me what OS/Browser combo you are running? I do not get the error; if anybody else does please PM me here. I've occasionally gotten it in the past looking at sites and I always figure, "welp, midget porn."by Trotsky - Hockey

RichH Chris '03 chimpfood Iceberg chimpfood If one of the 5,6 or 7 seeds are upset we would play harvard which would be both exciting and scary as they are playing pretty well right now and got the better of us earlier this year. If there's any team I could see being upset in one game, it would be Harvard. IMO Brown would be the best match-up of all. They haven't looked good against Cornell inby Trotsky - Hockey

scoop85 sah67 marty I couldn't catch the radio broadcast. Who was benched on Saturday because of Friday's poor play? Fegaras, apparently. Mosko looked really solid (again) in his place on the blue line, and Schafer gave him some of Fegaras’s PP time as well. O’Brien was in the “7th D” role with Donaldson out. I don’t believe Fegaras was a healthy scratchJason strongly implied he was.by Trotsky - Hockey

Jeff Hopkins '82 Dafatone Trotsky Oh, he didn't have his stick. Deliberate and possibly to cause injury. Throw that fucker out. Dirtier than the O'Byrne, which is when you lose your stick, grab a guy, pin him against the boards, and punch him in the kidneys til you get called for roughing. As opposed to the Olds, where you hit him into the boards, throw an uppercut, and just drop him.Or a Dby Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Opponents and Others 2023-24 - 27 days ago
CU2007 If we sweep the quarters, beat let’s say Colgate in the semis, and lose to qpac in the finals, how much help would we need for an at large? We talking 65% of in? 5%?I guess we'd want chalk, to strengthen our SOS and also all our opponents. Ideally, of course, it's chalk until we upset the Skating Deerticks.by Trotsky - Hockey

Re: ECAC 2024 Discussion Thread - 27 days ago
To all who think Schafer has lost his edge, Cornell has finished the last 7 seasons at least 6 games over .500 in the ECAC. Our only prior streak of at least that length ended in 1975.by Trotsky - Hockey

2 ties in derp points, for 9th (Princeton and Yale at 25) and 11th (Brown and RPI at 21). Not sure if I can trust the tie breakers on the sites, yet.by Trotsky - Hockey

ER No the same person incurred two separate penalties. So two power plays consecutivelyHuh. Coulda sworn because I remember thinking 6 minutes (even with just 4 on disadvantage) served on 2x2 min wasn't fair.by Trotsky - Hockey
Re: Cornell vs RPI, 2 March 2024 - 27 days ago
ACM: I coulda sworn this used to be assessed as 5x3, with the guy having a second man serve, and him having to stay 4. Was that ever the case?by Trotsky - Hockey
