Trotsky French Rage Trotsky Nix the fans one more year to be safe. We'll live. Literally. Only if I can pay for a cardboard version of me to go in my old section B seats.I am so for this. We could finally have students back in C. That means you could put one of me in C, D, and/or G. But does anyone really want three of me?by Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey

blackwidow Jeff Hopkins '82 Not gonna start a new thread. Just watched the third period of the Canada - Finland women's game. Brianne Jenner with the empty netter to clinch Canada's 5-3 win and also an assist on the 3rd goal. Rebecca Johnston and Jill Saulnier got ice time, but didn't score (I believe). Jamie Bourbonnais and Micah Zandee-Hart also on the roster, but I think they were heby Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey

blackwidow Jeff Hopkins '82 blackwidow If I become rich and end up having a lot of money to throw away, I would love to start an NHL franchise and bring an AHL affiliate somewhere close in upstate NY while providing a lot of awesome summer gigs for cornell hockey players (running summer camps and get richly rewarded) in order to make cornell hockey the most attractive D1 destination. Trotsky Jeff Hopkins '82 Beeeej French Rage TrotskyAll it tells us is "yes, there are people there." Boy you'll feel dumb when Schafer reveals an all-robot team. "...and starting in goal for the Big Red, seventeen ferrets in a trench coat!" (wild applause) If they can stretch out the trench coat to 4 x 6 we've got a chance. Trotsky So, what's the full list of alumni who played at least 1 game in the NHL this year? COL 1-8-9 Jacob MacDonald CBJ 2-5-7 Riley Nash PIT 2-2-4 Anthony Angello NYR 1-0-1 Morgan Barron CAR 0-0-0 Joakim Ryan No goalies? The NHL has a thing for tall goalies. Our goalies, while excellent, don't meet the height limit to ride the roller coaster.by Jeff Hopkins '82 - Hockey

Re: New indoor campus recreation & sports center - 1 year ago
I guess I don't understand the big deal about moving the athletic facilities to Game Farm Rd. I look at Lehigh where all their sports facilities (Football, basketball, lacrosse, etc.) are on the other side of the mountain from the main campus. It's a distance of 3-4 miles and it works just fine. They have a bus service that runs several times per hour on weekdays and les frequent on weekendby Jeff Hopkins '82 - Other Sports

Rita jtwcornell91 jkahn Rita my niece is now a freshman in high school and is starting to look at colleges. I had lunch with her yesterday and it was a rare day when a teenager was in a chatty mood. Trotsky French Rage Trotsky dbilmes RichH Here’s a pretty amazing picture of the chaos. The Grand Forks Herald has put together a list of all the transfers. Jim Hyla Beeeej Trotsky ugarte There is going to be an Ivy season next year. Sports around the country was janky but by and large they made it work. I think the Ivies did the right thing but by next year there will be very limited appetite for opting out of everything again.
