Re: MLAX: @Denver 2/24 - 2 months ago
It would be interesting to see the 3 goals. 0ne that didnt cross the line. I never went and tried to rewatch One that the FO man scored I think the backside judge ruled some kind of interference when the D slightly jostled with our trailing longpole.. Had not effect on the play One that we scored and I think the call was in the crease, I replayed it from the TV angle it didnt look likby upprdeck - Other Sports
Re: MLAX: @Denver 2/24 - 2 months ago
and a couple goals called back as well. not sure how replay can ever work at cornell with cameras stationed around the commons it seems.by upprdeck - Other Sports
Re: Cornell @ Clarkson, 2/23 - 2 months ago
Win the next 4 home games and then see what is what.. There is a good chance by then that winning the first night in Lake Placid is enough. How ever Quin losing anyplace along the way adds another dynamic as does the B10/HE/or ND not winning the NCHC. we could be up to 12th and still not get in..by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Clarkson, 2/23 - 2 months ago
it all matters but if we had won the game in Reg we would still be in 16th though closer to 15. the same for Sat nights game. Win both nights though we would be in 11thby upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Clarkson, 2/23 - 2 months ago
coach said they reviewed for goalie interference not a hand pass. I dont think hockey looks at everything in a review like football does.by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Clarkson, 2/23 - 2 months ago
in the coaches notes. something about a handpass on the clarkson goal they tied it up?by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ St. Lawrence, 2/24 - 2 months ago
I wonder how much they look at that rule as a during play or not during play thing. It also says persists, its a penalty. What does that mean? More than 1 time?by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Opponents and Others 2023-24 - 2 months ago
Early look at this week, so many games that matter now BC needs to take care of UNH to stop them from creeping up can Minn sweep Michigan If not Mich will jump up a good chunk ahead of us CC with a split I dont think we can pass them but too many unknowns right now Umass Lowell winning one would be be big to close the Umass lead UND winning 2 would be huge as well to bring WMU into ranby upprdeck - Hockey
Re: MLAX: @Denver 2/24 - 2 months ago
Fo matter so much in Lax when you cant win them its hard to win.by upprdeck - Other Sports
Re: Cornell @ St. Lawrence, 2/24 - 2 months ago
imafrshmn When was the last time we scored 2 or more EA goals in one game? as we look back on the season how much time have we spent trailing and had to pull our goalie in the last 2-3 min of games..by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Men’s Basketball 23-24 - 2 months ago
In the long run as long as we beat Col/Penn the Princeton game was going to decide everything anyway. Losing to Brown doesn't do much to us, and perhaps kicks them in the butt.by upprdeck - Other Sports
Re: Cornell @ St. Lawrence, 2/24 - 2 months ago
technically the game was over. You going suspend a coach from trying to get the refs attention after a game. they were likely yelling and whistling as well. Though I would think the first thing the refs should do on most any goal is check with the teams to make sure there is nothing to review.by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Opponents and Others 2023-24 - 2 months ago
interesting we would still be in 16th even had we held on for the win last night.by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Opponents and Others 2023-24 - 2 months ago
even in losing last night there is path with the RPIs being so close that we could jump right back up to 13-14th or so tonight with all the teams in that 12-16 group being real close. CC losing tonight is big and hopefully Denver takes them in 2 weeks Mich losing to ND and then getting help from Minn next week umass we beed UNH and then maine in 2 weeks as well Prov we need to slip up someby upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Clarkson, 2/23 - 2 months ago
Did we really expect that this team was going to go 3 months without really losing a game? losing on the Rd in OT was somewhat of a help. Win the next 5 with 4 of them at home and see where we are then.by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Opponents and Others 2023-24 - 2 months ago
several teams around us play much harder games they can lose for sure. Need some of that to happen.by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Cornell @ Clarkson, 2/23 - 2 months ago
iceing, lose a draw, allow a crazy angle shot and goal then give away in OT behind the net. Lots of things to go wrong to get a loss and why is Clarkon the place so many of them happen.by upprdeck - Hockey

I remember a physics course at my college where in the class of 60 only 10 of us got better than a zero.. made my 16 look pretty impressive as a solid B and I took it and was happy. All I remember was looking at the questions with no idea what to do and when we got the answers back I was like why would I ever think to use some formula used in electricity to get to the answer on gravity/frictby upprdeck - Hockey

hockey and lax are $21+ on the site.. Womens Lax is $13+ hockey tickets are pretty expensive too in much of the arena.. Though the $200 includes an all you can eat bufffet.by upprdeck - Other Sports
Re: ECAC 2024 Discussion Thread - 2 months ago
so those of us who went to college in the 80s can say our B's are really A's? so in the 60s the majority got Cs in the 80s Bs in the 2000s As. Also could look at the courses being taught have changed a ton as well, the ability to game the system has gone way up, more interaction between students.by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Opponents and Others 2023-24 - 2 months ago
This weeks games to help us. ND splitting with Mich would be nice trying to keep umass and NH behind us so maybe a split there St Cloud/WMU. ST cloud jumps them ahead of us but puts WMU behind us. A split moves ST cloud down. A WMU sweep knocks them back a good chunk CC/Omaha CC winning or splitting doesnt do much for us, IMAH sweeping knocks CC back and moves up a small amount Cby upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Alumni in the pros 23-24 - 2 months ago
There were a bunch of really nice passes last week that were very creative, the pass didnt quite get completed or we missed or we tanked the shot. How much hockey are people watching to compare to what other teams do? some really good PP dont do anything but pass either.by upprdeck - Hockey
Re: Men’s Basketball 23-24 - 2 months ago
huge leap in recruiting from the IVY to the bigger conferences. You can succeed and have a nice career in the IVY as well.by upprdeck - Other Sports
