jkahn ithacat Justin Ertel has jumped to the OHL. I find it interesting that the GM of his OHL team had this to say: “The level he was playing is as close to pro hockey as you’re going to get, when you’re playing 24-, 25-year-old guys, and roles are different. What you’re going to see when he’s playing against kids his own age in our league is he’s going to be a much more offensive contributor.by blackwidow - Hockey

scoop85 blackwidow ithacat Justin Ertel has jumped to the OHL. Does this mean... hes no longer with us...? Schafer too Tortorella-like and failing to vibe with the new gen Yes, once a player signs with a major junior team, he loses NCAA eligibility i follow junior hockey and college scene closely but i was so utterly in shock and denial that I just needed someone else to confirm this. imby blackwidow - Hockey

billhoward WederI have no idea how Lindsay Browning managed hockey, biomedical engineering and ROTC. Intramural hockey and the Daily Sun extended me to the limit. Plus the road games, pickup matches at Cass Park. Love to see itby blackwidow - Hockey

scoop85 blackwidow Cornell womens hockey, even prior to the U18 IIHF, i thought was already insanely stacked. Wow Well given how dominant the US team was last night, it seems we'd rather have more of them than the Canadians this year. I am just happy to get any Canadian or American team representatives but I agree with you.by blackwidow - Hockey

jtwcornell91 blackwidow Exactly this. Cornell loyalty >>> very unlikely pro hockey career Not everyone expects to play in the bigs. We had a player a few years back whose plan was to play college hockey well enough to play pro hockey in Europe, because it would give him the opportunity to live in another country. I was joking there with a hint of resentment. just being resentful thaby blackwidow - Hockey
Re: Wrestling 21-22 - 2 years ago
ugarte blackwidow How high is he rated?I'll look up his ranking but he's a freestyle Cadet (U17) world champ at 65kg. That's Yianni's weight class but I assume if he's wrestling cadet at 65kg he'll wrestle bigger than that in college. Edit: Flo has him at #3 overall in the all-weights ranking for the Class of '23. Thank you. This is awesome!by blackwidow - Other Sports

Dafatone blackwidow Dafatone blackwidow BearLover I’m not going to fault a kid for wanting to play elsewhere when he isn’t getting playing time. These kids want to play hockey, not linger on the bench. With that said, it’s a little surprising Howe is throwing in the towel so quickly.
