Thanks. I was wondering if our association with CSTV had ended. None too soon.by Johnny 5 - Hockey
Internet Viewing? - 16 years ago
Can anyone tell me who, if anybody, will be offering Internet audio/video of the games this year? Are we still hooked up with CSTV, or is there a new provider?by Johnny 5 - Hockey
Re: Senior letdown - 17 years ago
First, I must apologize for my considerable delay in replying to this thread. I was out of the country on business. Yes, you’re absolutely correct. I did not take the anarcho-syndicalist viewpoint into consideration. You may say to yourself, huh? However, it logically follows that Chairman Mao was a visionary in his decision to purge his nation of elitists and intellectuals. His foresight ultby Johnny 5 - Hockey
Re: Senior letdown - 17 years ago
True. However, that is exactly the point. Cornell hockey, and college sport in general, are a victim (or beneficiary) of our capitalist ethos. At one time kids attended college to get an education, thereby benefiting both themselves and our society. Sports were only a game. We can all hope. Until then let's pray that all the other teams keep offering us free audio &/or video as a backup. It's great to get your money's worth somewhere. I tried Mac OS X/Firefox/Quicktime for the Clarkson game last week and was frustrated, as were many others, by the freeze-ups. But after I switched to XP/IE7/WMP11 it worked flawlessly. Just a thought.by Johnny 5 - Hockey
Re: Clarkson video feed tonight - 17 years ago
Yes, I just accessed the Clarkson link & the archived games open fine. So, I'm assuming the live games will, also. And, I can view it on the Mac side of my Wintel MBP laptop using Quicktime. Unlike CSTV, which forces us to use IE on a PC, & even then half the time the feed is down. I've stopped counting the number of times I've had to call CSTV tech support, only to be stuck on hold for 2by Johnny 5 - Hockey
