Pity - 4 years ago
A real shame this fine ticket and its mates won't be used this year. NCAA did refund my money already so that is good. But sure would have liked to sit in these seats with Cornell in the final.by cufan - Hockey
Re: Corona Virus And Playoff Games - 4 years ago
Ever since the Coach induced flop in the 73 Semi's I have been waiting for an opportunity to cheer the Red on In Person at the Frozen Four. This was to be the year. fly to Detroit city, sit in the Arena ON THE GODAMN GLASS NO LESS, and whoop it up. But NOOOO Do not Fly up from south Florida, do not enter the arena, and hope like hell that the NCAA refunds my money in a timely fashion. SIGHby cufan - Hockey

Re: Arizona State - 5 years ago
Just curious as to who is footing the bill for ASU's extensive travel budget? Playing ranked teams around the countr appears to be paying off this year - just look at their record. Makes we wonder why we do not beef up our schedule a little. Maybe you lose a game or three but the team gets exposed to to flight competition. Just a thought.by cufan - Hockey

Attending football game help - 5 years ago
I have an opportunity to attend homecoming this season. Back in the day a few decades ago if you arrived a couple hours early you could park in the lot next to the stadium. What is the situation for fans arriving by car now? Any help is appreciated.by cufan - Other Sports
Re: Cornell-BU - 6 years ago
A couple of years ago the basketball team made it a point to play some really top flight programs for the experience. Yes they lost to Syracuse and Kansas but they did make it to the Sweet 16. Perhaps there is still time to set up some quality non ECAC opponents so the schedule will not be called "cupcake". Fun year - we'll lick 'em next year!by cufan - Hockey
Re: Quinnipiac QF Game 2 - 6 years ago
Thanks for the heads up on elevensports streaming. Down here in south Florida this was the first game that I've seen the Big Red play this year. Put it up on Chrome and and Chromecast it to our big Screen. And it was most satisfactory result!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by cufan - Hockey

Re: 2017-18 Schedule - 6 years ago
Fla. tourney normally scheduled for Dec 28 and 29 in past years. Germain Arena does not list the tourney in their events schedule for those dates but they have booked a comedian for the 28th. Usually it is included in the Everblades schedule and this year their is no mention of it. Sigh! Tom in Veroby cufan - Hockey
Re: 2017-18 Schedule - 6 years ago
Florida attendance also included the local EHL season ticket holders as paid attendance. The actual number in the building was considerably less. I counted the first nights 2nd game attendance in the hundreds. Never more than 2500 for the second night - if that many. The arena heavily subsidizes the teams for their travel and gets some good discounts for lodging. With ex Cornellian Arena GMby cufan - Hockey
Re: 2017-18 Schedule - 7 years ago
The Florida Tourney is very much in doubt. Heard the rumors upon arrival and talked with Trent Ferguson, Director of Sales. His answer to the question concerning the tourney next year was "To be determined". Attendance was way down, much less than the announced since I suspect that they were counting the season ticket sales. For Cornell game I would guess under 2000 the first nightby cufan - Hockey
