The report by Frank is another self serving piece by an academic who would prefer that all sports were abolished. I don't think the sports boom at major state Universities in this nation would be occurring if there wasn't money in those fields!by laxman - Other Sports

Coach Lucia is a dynamic personality who knows how to get the most out of his athlete's. Look at the women's team this year, after taking over both programs he has them winning 3 meets, just missing a fourth after the previous coach didn't win with the same talent for 3 years. Maybe the football team who gets a lot of glory and not many wins can take a lesson from his play book! The men's prograby laxman - Other Sports

Has anyone noticed the job Joe Lucia has done in the bath tub they call Teagle Pool. The men's team finished 5-2 in the ivy's despite injuries. Loosh took over the women's program this year and tripled their win total and is transforming the program. The stands were 75% full for the final meet of the year at Teagle.
