College athletes generate piles of cash to fund higher education, and seldom is there any mention of academic failure of students recruited for their physical rather than mental ability. scoop85 woodpile I have not been able to find an attendance report for yesterday's game. That was quite a large crowd at Michie which remains one of the greatest sports venues in the world. Until the plug is pulled out on the electricity for the place The official attendance was just over 4,000, but I know several people whose digital tickets weren’t scanned. scoop85 mike1960 Watched the replay. Nice win today. Yes, good ball movement overall and nice shooting. Great move by Coach Buczek to move CJ to the crease attack position. It's difficult to double team that position without leaving the defense vulnerable in other areas. CJ got some nice looks and drained most of them. mike1960 CU77 billhoward will Ohio State try a clampdown on CJ Kirst as others did to Jeff Teat his last 2 years CJ15 has 3 inches and 20 pounds on JT51 (if you believe the roster pages), and therefore is harder to shut off. In this case, when you win big: Cornell is the blue-collar team of the Ivies (well, certainly not HYP). Ground balls are blue-collar. Versus Hobart, Cornell 44-20. mike1960 CU2007 Is the freshman (cascadden?) our best hope for faceoffs? The sample size is a little small right now, but he did well against one of the best. As others said, he has good physical size, and he clearly also has good skills (technique) and mental toughness to twitch on the whistle.
