Re: Cornell Hockey Hats - 19 years ago
So I went to the store today and looked for the hat in the picture and the new one and didn't see either. Did they drop the old hat when they ordered the zephyr one?by Jacob '06 - Hockey

Re: Saturday 2/26 other scores - 19 years ago
I just got the impression from earlier posts in other threads that bracket integrity was most important, and minn is definitely in mariucci. Would they really make the 1 or 2 seed face the 5 seed in their regional?by Jacob '06 - Hockey
Re: Saturday 2/26 other scores - 19 years ago
I'm pretty sure if we are 4-5 in either order with minny, we will end up at mariucci which would be unfortunate.by Jacob '06 - Hockey

This alone is not enough to flip the criterion and thus the comparison and bump us up to #5, but it helps. For instance if UAA wins and you make Sacred Heart a TUC, we win the Minnesota comparison and go to #4. So go Seawolves! Re: Out Hit?! - 19 years ago
I didn't particularly enjoy his style. In the beginning of Saturdays game, I could hear him yelling all kinds of stuff to the players about not using their sticks on bodies down in the corner, but thats as far as it got. If you are going to yell at the players for stuff, you need to call a penalty for it if they keep doing it. I feel that he didn't call enough this weekend.by Jacob '06 - Hockey

I think the best part of the third Moulson goal was that he called for the puck knowing he was gonna shoot that wrister, and then did it and scored. It was fun to watch.by Jacob '06 - Hockey
Re: Texas Flag - 19 years ago
I think the guys that did it last year graduated. Mike "ack" usually has a sign that says "don't mess with McKee" with a picture of the flag on it, but thats about it. Dave the zamboni driver had a small texas flag yesterday with his cowboy costume.by Jacob '06 - Hockey
Re: Things Really Heating Up (NHL) - 19 years ago
The players major issue with the linking from what I understand is its short-term effects on team composition. For example, a team that just picked up a bunch of talent, but hasn't gotten molded together quite well yet might not have the best revenue that year, but the next year they'll be great. However, since their ticket sales sucked that year they all have to get a pay cut or get traded. I thby Jacob '06 - Hockey

Re: Lynah remodel - keeping up with the Joneses - 19 years ago
I think its going to eventually become necessary. In the next few years the alumni fields behind Bartels are going to be filled in with buildings, and that will leave all the grass sports without practice fields. They are going to have to make up for that with some sort of practice fields somewhere else. I think Cornell's drive for state of the art research facilities is stronger than their driveby Jacob '06 - Hockey
