abmarks Dunc Trotsky As a Section C Exile, it was wonderful to see the kids extend all the way from A to H. I hope cheers are starting to sync up again. We are trying our best, but most of the students in the further sections (D,E,F) are not season ticket holders so are not privy to the traditions and chants. (Surprisingly a decent portion of A seemed to not know the chants last night either)by Dunc - Hockey

Trotsky osorojo With a few spectacular exceptions (eg: K.Dryden) college hockey players do not dominate the cream of professional hockey players - as athletes do in most other sports. How come? Because hockey established the CHL as its feeder system, while the NFL and NBA use the factory ahem "colleges." It's the same reason most baseball players don't come up through college, thoughby Dunc - Hockey

Last game before the home opener! Let's finish off this road trip with a W. Going forward, will start to include the lines on these threadsby Dunc - Hockey
Re: Projected lines sheet - 1 year ago
Trotsky I believe CHN's in game boxes have them. For some stupid reason they wipe them after the game and go to a different final box which doesn't include them. These seem to be delayed and don't appear before game a lot of the timeby Dunc - Hockey

Dafatone Who had O'Leary for the first goal of the year? O'Leary looks like he really stepped up his game since last season, always seems to be the fastest player on the iceby Dunc - Hockey

Re: Guelph @ Cornell, 10/20/2022 - 1 year ago
dbilmes For what it's worth, Harvard put up a 9-spot against Guelph. Very true, but also at the same time, we got Guelph at there highest rest level while harvard got to play them on there 3rd game in 3 days. Who knows maybe we would have scored 15 had we played them saturday insteadby Dunc - Hockey
Re: UConn game at MSG - 1 year ago
Definitely glad to be playing them - ND was a great chance to get some pairwise help last season and UCONN will no doubt be helpful to the same effect if they continue on this hot streak and we are able to defeat themby Dunc - Hockey
Re: Guelph @ Cornell, 10/20/2022 - 1 year ago
Oof… kinda feel bad for Nate there - pulled after giving up 4 goals in the first (1-2 of which were just horrible defensive plays for Guelph) On the other hand we look great - passing beautifullyby Dunc - Hockey

Elynah didn't like my poll so this was a duplicate thread - 1 year ago
Elynah didn't accept my poll on the Guelph game thread and instead threw an SQL error and posted my thread twice with no poll You can ignore this because it was a duplicate - Also do polls not work in general on the forum?by Dunc - Hockey

billhoward RichHWe clinched at least 5th tonight, and they can’t finish lower than 2nd. It can’t be in the QF. If we finish 4th where we are now I believe, and Q finishes first, where they are, and higher-seeded teams win out in all the intermediate playoff games, wouldn't Friday at LP be be 1-4 at 4 pm and 2-3 at 7:30 and we meet Q again? We could avoid miss playing Q on Friday only if thereby Dunc - Hockey
