Re: 2024-25 Players Graduating - 3 months ago
BearLover CUDrew0105 Bancroft has signed with the Bruins. He will be assigned to Providence for the remainder of this season before a one-year entry level contract with the Bruins starts next season. Based on a recent conversation I had with one of the seniors, it sounds like it is a good scenario for him to join a team that is rebuilding and might get some play. happy positive message rainbowsby Beeeej - Hockey
Re: 2025-26 schedule - 3 months ago
pjd8 Maybe we're already doing the best we can with scheduling. But it really disappoints me when we play Q in MSG. I see zero benefit to scheduling them for an extra game. Could we really not entice a team like Northeastern, a school that obviously cares about how it is viewed nationally to potential students, to a stage like Madison Square Garden? Whether or not we can entice the team to plby Beeeej - Hockey

sah67 chimpfood It’s silly watching Cole Hutson out there, he is so good in the O zone. Yes, the 2003 ECAC title game was amazing, but (for me at least) forever a bit tainted by later events. The 1996 ECAC title game in Schafer's first season as HC, after a long title drought, was cathartic and wonderful. The 2OT win against BC in Providence to get to the Frozen Four in 2003, awesome. But for me there's simply no contest, the top Schafer era moment was March, 2009: Riley Nash tapby Beeeej - Hockey

BearLover Everybody was thinking this team was capable of a Frozen Four run before the season began. From that perspective, even being on the bubble would be disappointing. Instead, we’re almost locked out of an at-large midway through the season. ugarte I don't know how good Duluth is this year but NoDak went into their building and scored 7 tonight. That plus the common-opponents-with-Yale factor appears to have driven us up to #4 in the PWR after last night despite tying an 0-2 team. Gotta love the early math.by Beeeej - Hockey
