billhoward This is a challenge for low-budget newsgathering operations: The reader gets no idea what it all means, if this is a serious threat to the United States -- blow up the Watervilet Arsenal? or the Barton Hall ROTC offices? -- or somebody watching too much Fox News or just a local crackpot, or the guy was entrapped because he had an extra truckload of fertilizer he couldn't use.by David Harding - John Spencer Is Dead

Swampy TimV Trotsky Al DeFlorioThat looks exactly on beam.Depends whose "day" you mean by "our day." In the early 60s it was a $25 CUAA coupon book that got a student into every sports event. Well, in the early 60s we sucked. Supply and demand. Do we still just give free football tix to students? I had a CUAA book 64-68. Harkness years when we SO did not suck. Wave of Cornell football players announce transfer intentions Eleven seniors scheduled to graduate in the spring still have a year of NCAA eligibility due to the 2020 season being canceled and are hoping to play one more year somewhere outside the Ivy League. Cornell won't be any weaker than the team would be if those players just found jobs after graduation.by David Harding - Other Sports

Jeff Hopkins '82 jtwcornell91 Jeff Hopkins '82 upprdeck with the time Cricket takes to play.. How do they even get it done in the 2 weeks of the olympics. As he said, it's "20-over" cricket. An over is 6 balls thrown, so 20 overs is 120 balls bowled per side. Think of it as a baseball game with only 120 pitches thrown to each team. The version that takes forever is test cricket.by David Harding - Other Sports

I covered that game as a student and the postgame interviews (not so much the fight itself) have always stuck in my brain.
