Re: Bracketology 2023 - 1 year ago
Al DeFlorio Trotsky You could fix basketball by giving extra foul shots for multiple fouls within a certain interval. Also, basketball should get one time out per half, period. Just give the fouled team the option of taking the ball again. The fouls will stop. Allow the fouled team to use two balls for the next possession.by French Rage - Hockey

osorojo Two months ago on this site the practice of using records of past performance to predict winners of future games was reviled. Probability Puritans must be deeply disappointed by the total dominance of past performance used to select and seed teams in the finals. ursusminor Beeeej Trotsky Skating Dutchmen could be the greatest logo in history if they used their imaginations. Just adapt this to a goddamn skater and you have something spectacular: There's an easy solution - just go with Das Fliegende Holländers, in the plural neuter form. Re: Recruits 2023 and beyond - 1 year ago
George64 osorojo I believe Cornell's most successful hockey team was comprised of relatively "small" skaters. The biggest member of that team was probably the goalie. The 1969-70 team that went 29-0-0 was backstopped by 5-7 Brian Cropper. Ken Dryden was the goalie on our first NCAA Championship team (27-1-1) in 1967. . Go easy on him, casual fans often forget who the 1970 goalie wby French Rage - Hockey

Al DeFlorio The men's and women's teams were #1 in 2020 when the season was shut down by Covid. There was no 2021 for Cornell. 2022 was a recovery year. 2023 still has a long way to go. Incoming recruits look pretty solid. No reason to whine. osorojo would respond but he's too busy trying to find his comically small microdick.by French Rage - Hockey

OK, if you don't want it to end in a tie, then we need to compromise and say a win is a win, regardless of how you got that win. You either win, lose, or tie; otherwise we end up with 7 different columns in the standings. Gender is a spectrum; hockey games are not.by French Rage - Hockey
