BearLover marty adamw BearLover adamw BearLover—Cornell has only 2 seniors, one of whom is the third string goalie. They do not have enough experience to compete for a national title this year. My best guess is the finish in the 20s in the Pairwise. sah67 Ken Schott spoke to Schafer and Castagna at the postgame presser: Mike had a nice little wisecrack about Schott confusing 2024 for 2014 and suggested he not run for office Anyone who doesn't watch this video especially from the 3 minute mark to the end will be banned from eLynah. Even more important than listening to Jason's pregame interview, BL.by marty - Hockey

David Harding BearLover There are only two realistic candidates to take over when Schafer finally decides to call it quits: Casey Jones and Ben Syer. Casey has had some decent success at Clarkson, but I think it’s very likely to be Syer, assuming he doesn’t take a job elsewhere in the interim. Syer is young and has been top assistant for many years during some of the best times for the program. Iby marty - Hockey

BearLover adamw upprdeck well sometime in the next 2-10 yrs we will have to find out what a diff coach can.. I doubt he will be here when he is 70 so the window is probably even smaller. I'm going to go out on a really short limb and say that the odds of finding another coach that does as good a job, are about 5%. Umm, considering it’s probably going to be Syer, it will be much higher than 5%.by marty - Hockey

TimV VIEWfromK That was a neat arena... Players walking to the bench through the crowd is unique. Of course a win helps but would gladly go back there someday. I was talking to a rink staffer during pregame warmups. He told me because of a problem with the under ice cooling system they had to re-route the visiting team from the original entry through the zamboni doors in the southeast cornby marty - Hockey

marty 617BigRed Coming out from Boston this weekend for first time at RPI & Union games, anyone else gonna be out there? Get some Red fans at each game usually? Does the band come out? Dafatone Chris '03 BearLover Chris '03 BearLover Can somebody please plot a graph with # of draft picks on the X axis and that team’s PWR on the Y axis, to test the correlation? Current RPI vs Picks: Also, quick question: from where did you derive the number of picks on each team? I know BU and BC each have 14, but the graph stops at 13. Re: Odds of winning 2024 NCAAs - 2 months ago
The Rancor Maybe with home ice on the line, we get better scheduling... maybe even a proper number of games played each season... better SOS... Better RPI... I'd rather have the odd chance at winning in Denver with the nearly same chance of winning at Lynah. Why would the Ivy League change their idiotic restriction on games played? We can dream.by marty - Hockey

BearLover adamw BearLover jkahn adamw BearLover adamw BearLover arugula Appears that the pwr is not changed. Cornell lost RPI in the PWR. Because it was in OT and on the road, it wasn’t as bad as it otherwise would have been against the 44th ranked team. But we dropped from ~.5528 to .5500, meaning we are closer to 16, and farther from 14, than we were when the night began. A drop is a drop - tby marty - Hockey
