Cornell game pushed back to 6pm? - 18 years ago
Was watching the Sucks - Maine game on TWS and saw a marquee saying the Cornell game will start at 6pm. The wording makes me think it's the actual start getting pushed back, not just the TWS feed. Can't say I'm 100% sure though.by Pace - Hockey

Tub(a)I'm going to go out on a HUGE limb here and pick Cornell/Harvard for the Championship I would love to see us beat Harvard in the final... Btw, anyone know when and how can I find out which teams will play the early game on Friday and which the later one?by Pace - Hockey
Re: Cornell 0 RPI 2 (3rd period) - 18 years ago
DeltaOne81PaceOat Think positive guys. If we lose tomorrow, then we might not get a first-round bye in the ECAC playoff. I was actually thinking about this. I think I saw some posts earlier saying we were guaranteed a buy. However, both Sucks and SLU(t) are 2 points behind us. Since they don't play each other tomorrow, a win for both of them and a loss for us would have all three of us at 27ptby Pace - Hockey

Re: Cornell - Quinnipiac postgame - 18 years ago
Great to finally get a sweep at home. That said, I don't think we played that well either night. Thoughts: - I am happy with McKee. It's not the McKee of last year, but it's a vast improvement over his play thus far. He seems to be getting his confidence back and is making big saves. - I really like Seminoff. He seems to have figured out how to play D without getting a tonne of penaltiby Pace - Hockey

Beeeej Wrote: Sorry, Pace. I just think you meant "in a rut." Delta is of course right. We can blame a couple of those goals on McKee, but he played about the level of the rest of the team...by Pace - Hockey
Re: Cornell 1 @ Dartmouth 6 (post-game thread) - 18 years ago
I think it's also the fact that he knew that he's been playing poorly this year even before the game started. It's not like his previous games showed the "old McKee" form. But I do not mean to suggest that I lost confidence in him. He's had an off coupla' games. I think we need to give our team a crazy-ass loud welcome next weekend, and particularly a lot of support to McKee. That isby Pace - Hockey
Re: Cornell 1 @ Dartmouth 6 (post-game thread) - 18 years ago
I can sorta understand McKee, it's hard to keep it together psychologically after 3 or 4 fast goals like that. But still, like someone said, a Hobey Baker finalist simply should not allow this kinda thing to happen in the first place.by Pace - Hockey
Cornell 1 @ Dartmouth 6 (post-game thread) - 18 years ago
Well, what can one say? It is much easier to list the few good things about the game. 1) We were alright in the 3rd. No goal, but great improvement after the first 2. A few good PKs. 2) Chabot played well. Certainly better than McKee. I wonder who coach starts next weekend.by Pace - Hockey
