French Rage Where is the "Big Red in the NHL" wall? Is that new? In the video room heading toward coach's office and the locker rooms in the new part of the rink.by CowbellGuy - Hockey

You're not doing anything wrong. Probably another extended UTF-8 issue I'll have to debug in my Twitter extension, but I don't have time right now. Sorry.by CowbellGuy - Hockey

Whatever I end up doing, it's going to require updating the forum software and along with that, the templates before I can implement some hurdles and my spare time is devoted to the CHN app rewrite so unbunch your panties.by CowbellGuy - Hockey

Ask the Coach: 2017 Edition - 6 years ago
Coach Schafer has been gracious enough to offer to answer questions from the Faithful again! We'll probably do this around the start of the season, but no reason we can't start collecting questions from all of you in the meantime, so ask away!by CowbellGuy - Hockey

imafrshmn BMac They really should be proud. Especially with the injuries they had, this was a team that got it together and provided one of the most fun seasons in quite a while +1 I dunno. Do you people think you can behave yourselves this time?by CowbellGuy - Hockey

CU2007 Pecknold is a chump who deserves none. Exhibit A: His calling Bardeau a diver, when he had, in fact, broken his neck. He broke his neck at RPI. Thinking of that other now-unemployed chump?by CowbellGuy - Hockey

Greenberg '97 CowbellGuy In the meantime, I won't be able to make it Saturday. Slight possibility of Sunday if things go well, but is anyone going to be there and able to cover? This would fulfill a dream I've had for over 20 years. However, I own neither a cowbell nor rhythm. Cowbells I gots. Can't help you with the other.by CowbellGuy - Hockey

Calling All Cowbell Alums / State of the Cowbell - 7 years ago
As dismal as student participation has been of late, I've also been pretty dismayed at the state of the cowbell. It's been going since 1969 in various forms, and I'll be damned if it gets claimed by apathy, too. For years after I gave it up, there was always good communication with my successors to make sure the cheer would always be represented at home and on the road. Hooking I think Johnny Petrilose still holds the rights to the bear logo above. In all seriousness, the university holds the rights to that bear logo, which is why we ended up with Huggy Bear.by CowbellGuy - Hockey

marty ugarte CowbellGuy Circumstances outside of the control of the coaching staff, the school, the kids, and their families dictated the changes, nothing more.what the hell is left? I think what is left is that the player changed his mind because he liked another program. That's how I'm reading this. Then you're reading it wrong.by CowbellGuy - Hockey

ithacat Big loss. Limoges was the cornerstone of the class. Never really understood his commitment as I don't see the point in skilled forwards coming to Cornell as long as Mike is in charge...still, it was nice to dream. I should know better than to feed the trolls, but the false assumption being made here is that the lost commits no longer wanted to come to Cornell. Circumstances outside of tby CowbellGuy - Hockey

With the direction the team is going, someone like Malott is going to have plenty of opportunity. I don't make my crazy predictions often, but my track record's pretty good.by CowbellGuy - Hockey
Re: Colgate @ Cornell 02/07/17 - 7 years ago
Trotsky Malott has nice instincts. He's going to be a 20-goal scorer his senior year. The question is does he get to that level before then.by CowbellGuy - Hockey
Re: Opponents News - 7 years ago
abmarks It's only no goal if there was intent to kick in. There is no provision for this whatsoever. Intentional or not, if it's a kicking motion, it's not a good goal. The only provision is if the player is stopping and that's not what happened here.by CowbellGuy - Hockey

Iceberg -The RIT student area was really enthusiastic. The rock guitar that their band had was an interesting touch. No! No, no, no, no. No, no, no. Pep bands shouldn't have to be plugged in. Back in the 90s Clarkson (and others over the years) had an electric bass. It's just wrong. Don't encourage them. underskill what TV revenues could these conferences possibly be getting for college hockey though? especially the ECAC While not true for, say, B1G, I believe that would be a negative number for the ECAC.by CowbellGuy - Hockey
