Any idea on a firm release date? Or has it already been released and I haven't seen it yet? Just save me an unnecessary walk over to the Campus Store.by Will - Hockey
Re: Memories - 21 years ago
I was right next to Big Ben '03 for the game at Harvard, so I saw the save too, and it goes in my top five plays of the season. Still, I think I'm going to put the Sam Paolini GWG in Albany as my personal top moment of the season. I mean...damn, that was exciting.by Will - Hockey

Re: Pre-Frosh Back Again - 21 years ago
Sully, I agree with all of those sentiments except for the "Your mom called" etc. cheer. I kinda like the three-line way it is now, so long as the third person that called is actually cleverly done instead of something stupid and unoriginal like "Your boyfriend called", which, I'm sorry to say, happens far too often.by Will - Hockey

This might explain Ned's being awarded it in 1968 rather than in the championship year of 1967. Re: Thank you seniors - 21 years ago
(Pardon me as I get sentimental.) I would like to thank not only the seniors, but the entire team, for making my Cornell hockey experience simply awesome. When I first got to Cornell in the fall of 1999, the hockey team of the previous year didn't even have a winning season (their previous season's finishing record being 12-15-4). In the past four years, however, the team has just become betteby Will - Hockey
Re: CORNELL FROZEN FOUR TICKETS -- OFFICIAL RELEASE - 21 years ago
Does the ticket office take cash? That is, if by some stroke of luck I am a winner in the lottery, can I pay for my ticket(s) with the cash I got from the 50/50 drawing I won two months ago (yes, I still haven't spent any of it)? It may seem like a stupid question, but I've never paid $120 (or $240 for that matter) in cash for anything before, certainly not to the ticket office.by Will - Hockey

Thanks Age. We can just photoshop in some voice bubbles, or better yet, just have arrows pointing to Underhill and the other guy saying, respectively, "Goalie" and "Sieve".by Will - Hockey

They can't seriously be doing good business at that station. I'm guessing they'd have to do 2/3 of the business that they would do with 'normal' (that is, competitive) prices, and I can't imagine there's that much customer loyalty there, even if the station across the street has such a long line. They can't stay in business too long at those prices. But, to be fair, I know next to nothing abouby Will - Hockey
Re: It's official...RPI-Cornell on TV Saturday - 21 years ago
Even though I will be at the game Friday (and Sunday if necessary) and will have no need for the hockeycam, it's nice to know it will be back, if ever so briefly, to help fans who otherwise won't be able to watch the game. Kudos to all helping to make it happen.by Will - Hockey

Cornell section at Pepsi Arena - 21 years ago
As I was purchasing my Lynah playoff tickets earlier today, I asked the guy working the ticket window about the Cornell section at the Pepsi Arena should the Big Red advance to that round. He told me that the tickets for Cornell's block would go on sale the Monday morning after the home playoff weekend and that there would be approximately 400 tickets up for grabs. Re: Weekend Playoff Predictions - 21 years ago
On USCHO, I believe I predicted Brown, Clarkson, and Union to win as expected via seedings (Union-RPI goes to three games), and SLU(t) to upset Colgate in three games. I want to keep believing that the North Country is capable of doing some real damage in the playoffs.by Will - Hockey
