Section G isn't much better, but then again, I expect G to be like that. I wish it weren't so. On the other hand, once I see some of the people who eventually show up to sit in G (thanks for blocking my view for the first five minutes of the game, assholes), those who don't sing the Alma Mater and chat about unrelated things all throughout the game, I wish they hadn't showed up to begin with.by Will - Hockey

Re: Defending Mike Rosenberg - 20 years ago
For what it's worth, I don't really have anything against Mike Rosenberg. "Facetimer", though, was acting a bit too pompous and I thought "Facetimer" needed to be mocked. And it looks like I wasn't alone.by Will - Hockey
Re: Defending Mike Rosenberg - 20 years ago
Be careful, Josh, by posting in this thread (since that seems to be the only common factor for all the people Facetimer has yet called a facetimer, except for Greg), you may be declared a facetimer! Making fun of Zancanaro was a ton of fun (and we got to do it for two games, too!). Way on the other side of the rink (section F), we called him "Rudy" (as in the movie about the diminutive Notre Dame football player).by Will - Hockey

Re: Cornell vs Mercyhurst - 20 years ago
I think an at-large bid is kind of a longshot at this point. I think we have a better chance at getting into the NCAA tournament much like Harvard did in 2001-2002--by upsetting the likely ECAC tournament champion and gaining an autobid. Hopefully, it will be Harvard we can beat in that game--sweet revenge.by Will - Hockey

Glad to see some fans from the Abbotts' pre-Cornell days here in the forum. I don't know if the forum is the best way to communicate with them (I thought they weren't allowed to check the web for what people are saying about them?), but I'm sure the sentiment is appreciated!by Will - Hockey
