Re: New Colgate Arena - 11 years ago
Give My Regards Obviously no one is old enough to remember the 1959-60 season, in which the Big Red won the first game and the last game... and lost the 19 in-between. Even the 1992-93 horror show pales in comparison to that. Although, just to relate this to the thread topic, Cornell did beat Colgate that year... Jeff Hopkins '82 Well if we're voting for silly locations, I think it should be here in Allentown. That is if the big hole in the ground downtown actually gets turned into an arena. People can kill time between the games by filling out forms and standing in line.by French Rage - Hockey

Trotsky KeithKNah. It should be at the Shark Tank in San Jose. That would be the easiest for me. And Cornell would still have the most fans in the arena (but that's a given).Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the Bay Area and you pick San Jose?! That's like visiting Paris and eating at Wendy's. OK, then in SF at the Cow Palace.by French Rage - Hockey

Al DeFlorio Jeff Hopkins '82 But the outdoor activities in LP keep giving until I can no longer get myself out the front door. Jeff, I'm glad to hear you take advantage of the outdoor activities in LP. I'm interested in which ones you do? Ski jumping with Adam? Re: Cornell Women's Hockey: Offseason - 11 years ago
ACM Women released their 2012-13 schedule today. I hope someone notices that both the men's and the women's teams have games scheduled at 7pm on Friday, October 26 at Lynah Rink, the women against Yale, the men against Colorado College. They're actually going to extend the rink to have four zones that meet in the center of the ice. Battle royale!by French Rage - Hockey

Aaron M. Griffin Robb KeithK You're making way too much of the Union thing. Union has finished first two years running and is the defending league champion. Referring to their "reign atop the league" is standard sports journalism.Agree. Defending = reigning, as far as I'm concerned. Probably right, but their fans at AC and online are annoying.
